Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

I use this with a WOOD BURNING stove. That is why it is hard to clean. It usually receives a lot of blackness on the outside on the bottom that is fairly difficult to clean, but really, that doesn't matter.

Other than that, easy to pack, light weight and has been nothing but seriously awesome.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

This is a great lightweight cookset. The cup and bowl are just the right size to hold the amount of water I need for meals. A fuel canister can easily fit inside the larger bowl plus extra room. Stuff sack keeps everything together.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

This is a well-made product that falls short in the functionality department. My main issue with the cookset is that it's just too darn small to cook with. Pasta water boils over, frying is impossible, etc. For a hungry camper, it just can't hold enough food for supper. It is ideal for heating water to be poured into a dehydrated meal, oatmeal, coffee, etc.

The product itself seems durable after 2 years of use, though the silicone sleeves on the handles melted off after only a few uses, leaving bare metal for my hands to grip. It is somewhat easy to dent, but more resistant to wear than stainless steel or aluminum or equal thickness.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

I needed to reduce my weight and size to get more stuff in my pack. With all the choices in dried food available, I gave up cooking years ago. So if you only need to heat water, then this stove is great. It heats enough water for two. I use the cup for hot drinks and food, stash a separate cup inside. But I don't cook in it. My only problem is it's a litle too small for my old MSR whisperlight stove, so I use a screen on top of the stove.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

This is a great cookset, extremely light and does the job. I was worried when I got it, about getting a metaly taste. But no problems at all. Did get some oatmeal cooked on in the bottom, but was eventually able to get it clean.

A big duh, the handles are metal. So common sense, you should let them cool for a sec before grabbing. They cool really fast, you can grab them with your fingers in like 30 seconds after you pull it off the stove. Not a big deal at all.

              Extremely happy with this cookset.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

When i buy a product i want it to fit my use for many scenarios whether I'm hiking alone and want lightweight, hiking with my girlfriend, multiple people or just my dog, because i dont want multiple stoves, multiple tents, and multiple sleeping bags etc. so i upgraded from the GSI Pinnacle Soloist which had a plastic spoon, plastic bowl, and plastic lid...all of which i was very uneasy about getting near heat( being part of a cookset is like bad math to me. its obvious what should and should not be.) the snow peak ti set is as you probably know 5oz which is half the weight of the pinnacle. the pinnacle fit a 200g fuel canister but because of the nonstick coating you were forced to put a sock around the canister, which if the sock got wet at all would collect dirt or RUST from the canisters even overnight..couldnt even consider a paper towel which caused 2x the problems. the sock also made it so the whole system could not close all the way, a huge delemma for me choosing between protecting the nonstick coating or closing it up properly, and this was a very very thin ankle sock for women so it doesnt get smaller than that. the snow peak set has not had this problem because i havent been forced to protect the canisters, which either 2 100g canisters will fit or a canister n unsheated pocket rocket style stove. i found that with 2 canisters the stuff bag holds the stove nicely on top along with a lighter n extra waterproof matches. and of course the snow peak titanium spork will lay length wise along the cookset, when cinched all stays secured tightly and very organized. the loosefitting stove top isnt problamaticly loose at all and with the stuff sac it doesnt move a bit, its pinned in place. even with that being said though, if you watch video's like Chris Townsends review of his gear for the PNT Thru-hike and you see any form of titanium cookset you will notice the light clanking sound of titanium lids which sit slightly loose but fit perfect when heated. something about that sound rings QUALITY and everytime i take my set out to start up a meal that sound reminds me of all the hard work ive done to earn myself quality products and the hard walking ive done to earn myself a good meal. so when reading the reviews i was shocked that nobody felt the same way and actaully looked at it as a negative aspect. i will give the clanking sound a positive review! load ur set so there is no sound or load it in a way that it does make sound(although it would be minimal, and i'd be suprised if you could hear it through the bag and gear.) and have 1 extra deterant for animals. i use a bear bell anyways so i dont mind sounds they make me much more comfortable. anyway i think the set is designed perfectly. its lightweight, versatile in the way you can load it, and I have yet to see a titanium set that didnt last 15+ years and still perform flawlessly. in fact other than the blackening on the bottom they could pass as brand new. You also dont have to be as delicate with it as GSI products made of aluminum and nonstick coating that you have to be mindful of. all in all there is really nothing bad i have to say about this cookset im very happy when i think about it being in my pack waiting for me. sometimes it seems like people want to find something to complain about to make their review mermit more value somehow but i think youd really have to try hard to view something as negative about this cookset and that will end up devaluing the review. all in all. get this cookset. oh yea and i have not had a problem with cooking a large batch of insta-mash pertatoes for 2 in the pot. if there were more than 2 itd be a simple few extra minutes to heat more water. thats ok though because you got 2 canisters in just the pot alone.:) Titanium for the win. I'll be switching to all titanium components in my gear including my stakes.

Comments about Snow Peak Titanium Mini Solo Cookset:

This is a great little pot to add to a smaller kit. the set will nest a nalgene bottle inside of it and the nalgene neoprene insulation sleeve will fit around the whole thing, now you have a cook kit wrapped around your nalgene bottle. Cant put a stove inside of it when you do that but if you dont favor canister stoves inside the pot is not a great place for your stove any ways.

It does the job and takes up super minimal space. The lid is even a bit of a vapor seal allowing a fair bit of steaming to occur in your pot, though the lid is still flat enough to pack easily.

The people at Snow Peak say that they designed the pot to cook rice, and that design shows in the pots efficiency.

I wish it was cheaper so I dropped a star, but I like it allot.
