Comments about Liston Concepts Dog-On Easy Leash and Waist Belt System:
I love this leash. I rec'd it for christmas when I only had one lab - we would use it for hiking. I was experiencing neck problems on my left side, where I was holding a leash to run. I started using this waist leash to run with her, and it was so nice to be able to run and swing both arms (not hold a leash)! We now have 2 labs - I purchased a splitter from a pet store, and hook both dogs to my waist. It's great. I highly recommend it. And no neck problems!

Comments about Liston Concepts Dog-On Easy Leash and Waist Belt System:
I've had this leash for seven years, think that's right. I love it. I lost the one I had and am here to replace it. It's a great leash for any kind of activity and it is certainly durable. Can't seem to find them anywhere else, so I'm most happy that REI has them still. I have a 80lb. chow and have never had a problem with it. It has saved my dogs life on more than one occasion. He's an alfa guy that loves to go after rattle snakes, believe me, be glad that this leash is durable. Thanks REI for carrying such a great product.

Comments about Liston Concepts Dog-On Easy Leash and Waist Belt System:
My wife and I love this leash and have been using it for over a year. It was the answer to many of our problems. Our dog is a german shepherd/border collie mix (~50lbs). We are very active, running our dog everyday and take her hiking. Additionally I, use the waist strap in combination with an active extenda-leash (purchased elsewhere) to take our dog on off-road biking treks. This leash is also great for use when walking through crowds and needing to cary other things, like food & drink. There is one downside though - the leash clips come off occasionally if twisted hard at the wrong angle (although this has only happened a handful of times.. The only other minor issue is that I wish the leash could be shortened less than 3'. Sometimes when running, the leash catches b/n the dogs legs. My wife does not have this issue with her longer legs. We have referred this leash to many neighbors& friends.

Comments about Liston Concepts Dog-On Easy Leash and Waist Belt System:
I got this leash/belt from my local REI a few months back and tried to use it with the dog I was fostering, but I just didn't get into it at the time. I have recently read a number of dog training books including the ones by Cesar Millan and Cesar has inspired me to go back to running each morning with the dog. My current foster is a bassett mix and she and I go "migrate" each morning and the belt setup is great. I leave the adjustable leash a bit shorter and hook her to the loop on the right side and off we go. She follows back and left and things work great. I need to try it with a larger breed soon. My 1 complaint about the system is also one of its strengths. The O rings on each side that the leash can clip onto are on a nylon loop on the side so that it is not in 1 fixed spot but can move forward or backward. I like it, but would wish it didn't go so far back. I may have it stitched back there to limit the amount it can go back (it doesn't go all the way behind me, but comes close).
