Comments about GSI Micro Table:
Anyone who has ever dumped dinner will love this. Small and lightweight, the GSI Micro Table belongs on your pack. That's right, I said pack. As in backpacking. One would think that toting this thing up your favorite grade would be an excersize in yuppie-ness, and that such gear should be left with the people in the 50' RV. You know, the one with the satellite dish. Actually, this table belongs with you.
Take, for example, cooking in the snow. You have a cold stove, a cold plate, cold pots, and a cold behind. GSI leaves you to deal with that last one, but your cook set will be elevated 8" off the ground. This table is especially beneficial for those of you with unstable stoves, like the Mini-Trangia. With this table, the only reason for that pot to fall is you kicking it with your huge clogs. Finally, this is great for tent-door cooking, keeping your stuff right there at eye-level, and out of the mud.

I LOVE this table. It is small, but not too small, it is easy to clean, and is light enough to take anywhere. I love this table.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
A great way to bring just the right amount of civilization to the back country. This table is small and light enough to fit into a nook in your pack. It provides a great platform to keep you food out of the dirt (smores don't taste as good with grit in the marshmallows) After dinner, it is a great game table.
We hike with our elementary school age children and it has become essential gear to keep things clean (utensils, dishes, food, books, games, etc.) because kids aren't as careful as they should be.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
This has to be one of the coolest inventions for the modern hiker. Just setting this baby up is enough to make any hike interesting. Provides a very stable platform for both cooking and eating. Table does fold small, but the true minimalist may be hard pressed to sacrifice the space to bring it. More suited towards overnight backpacking, group hikes, and trips over rugged terrain.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
My husband and I love this little table and the technology that made this design possible. It's totally light, exceptionally strong, easy to assemble and has so many uses (indoors and out); writer's desk, foot rest, food prep and serving table, game table, cat perch...! We love the high tech look and it's simple, multi-use applications.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
Very nice and useful product. Only reason it did not get 5 stars is that it does not set up that easy. You have to thread a couple of long steel support rods through holes in each slat. Not that difficult, but it does take a few minutes. It might be a hassle if you were setting up at night after a long day.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
One of the best parts about kayak camping is there is plenty of space to bring along the items that make life just a bit easier. Finding a sand-free food prep area is always a challenge on the beach, and this little table allows me to provide my own! I wouldn't take a trip without it, and it packs down small enough to fit in the nooks and crannies in the boat.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
We often use this table for photo shoots when we hike. While I won't carry it on long trips, for overnighters it is very handy. Even better, for winter camping it keeps your stove out of the snow.
Great for doing prep, cooking on but also as mentioned by others as a great "bed stand" in the tent. Also good for kids to have a play area for drawing/coloring.
It is sturdy and easy to put together, as well it is small when packed up.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
This table is designed for backpacking, but I bought it to take along for car camping. It makes a great little "nightstand" in the tent so you can keep track of things like eye glasses, bottle of water, flashlight......all those things you don't want to lose track of in your tent in the middle of the night.

Comments about GSI Micro Table:
This thing is really handy to have. It keeps my stove level, gives me a place to put my pot, and utensils, and keeps everything out of the dirt. It does take up a little bit of room, but it seems like having that place to play cards on or whatever really comes in handy out in the woods. After seeing it on our last trip, a couple of my friends are going to buy one of these.
