Comments about Rain Shield O2 Cycling Jacket - Unisex:

I bought this thinking that it might breath a little better. It's great as a windbreaker and as a rain jacket. I am not too experienced with wearing breathable garments while riding and I think if you are working up a sweat, no fabric is going to keep you dry so I am not discounting it much for this. It's light, a nice color, packs really well and is as comfortable as wearing a jacket while building up heat inside can be. No pockets though, a pocket or two would be nice. I would buy it again but I would like a couple big pockets to put my cell phone and money in. HA!

Comments about Rain Shield O2 Cycling Jacket - Unisex:

I bought this jacket and used it for less than 1 season when the stitching started coming undone near the end of the sleeves. Soon, the yellow outer material started separating from the inner lining material.

It is very lightweight and good for light rain. For heavy rain, you'll need something better. Also, since it so fragile, you will need to be careful in off-bike situations, e.g., when going in and out of doors.

I would definitely not buy this again because of its poor quality.

Comments about Rain Shield O2 Cycling Jacket - Unisex:

I used this jacket in 2007 PBP, 750 miles in 4 days, mostly with rain. It was already 2 years old and still kept my dry. Also breathed enough that I didn't get wet from the inside. A perfect combination that neither the $150+ fancy jackets, nor the cheap vinyl jackets manage to do. It is true it won't last forever, but well worth using up and then replacing.

Fabric is very weak with a soft high-friction surface. The jacket tore when I accidentally rubbed my shoulder against a (smooth!) plastered wall!

Comments about Rain Shield O2 Cycling Jacket - Unisex:

Nice lighweight rain coat. I have had it for a yr now and it is starting to fall apart. Now I carry this with me in my backpack everyday. It gets pulled in and out multi times a day so I can see where it would age fast. If I only wore it when it was raining this coat would last a long time. Overall its a great packable, inexpensive, keeps you dry rain coat. I will buy it again. It also works great as a spring/fall riding wind breaker.
