    You have to pick this up -- literally -- to feel how light it is. It holds enough to say, brew coffee for three, food for two, or coffee and oatmeal for just one. The lid weighs nothing, but if you know you won't need, leave it home. It comes with a nice little drawstring sack to pack it, and you don't need a pot holder since it has handles.

    Due to an over-throttled stove, I did manage to burn the bottom bar of the handles, which are coated with same plastic/rubber material as plier grips. However, the slight burn didn't affect the functionality of the handles, and I still carry this pot.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
