Comments about Bison Designs Fold-A-Bowl:
I think this bowl is great. I have nothing bad to say about it and here is why:
It dries quickly, it is not bulky like others. It neatly folds up itself like a little pouch you zipper up and close for storage or for hanging on the leash. It even comes with a carabiner style clip.
Perfect.

Comments about Bison Designs Fold-A-Bowl:
I want to like it. It has a great design, I love it that it folds into itself then zips up tight and has a clip to keep it handy. But there are two serious flaws.
1 - It won't hold water. Like a reviewer above mentioned, it holds it briefly, then it all slowly leaks through and soaks the entire bowl and whatever it's sitting on.
2 - the clip is really flimsy and I don't trust it. The first time I found this out, I was doing a weekend hike on the Appalachian Trail. On the way back to the car at the end of the trip, I arrived at the parking area and reached to get the bowl to get my thirsty dog some water. But it had fallen off at some point. Thankfully the hikers behind us knew we had a dog, picked it up, and arrived at the parking lot about 15 minutes after us.
I have since seen it fall off the leash, a belt loop, or whatever it is clipped onto on walks to the park. I now rarely use it and I'm searching for a better replacement.

Comments about Bison Designs Fold-A-Bowl:
I've gone through three different versions of these bowls and am giving up on them. They will not hold water for any longer than a few minutes, before it all leaks out the bottom and the sides and leaves everything soaked through. And wastes water.
They are OK for an immediate thirst quencher, as most of the water will end up in the dog's mouth. But same deal w/training a dog to drink out of a camelbak, and its just easier that way.
I'm looking for something not coated in vinyl but still waterproof.
If you
a) don't own a camelbak
b) need something to hold water for more than a few minutes
then look elsewhere.

Comments about Bison Designs Fold-A-Bowl:
I keep two of these with me on missions. One for water and one to feed out of. They are small enough to hang on my vest for easy, quick drinks and they are light for packing. I have had mine for years and they seem to last forever.

Comments about Bison Designs Fold-A-Bowl:
This is an awesome water bowl. It hold almost half a nalgene and is easy to use. Steady, dries quick and folds nicely. It has a clip to hang from a dog pack or waist band while drying too! One of my favorite pieces of dog gear for hiking.
