This is a highly effective bug repellant. One downside is that as a cream, you have to rub it on. It gets all over your hands, so if you're camping, you have to wash well before eating. Be careful about spills. It has melted many plastic and rubber objects of mine when it spilled in my toiletries kit. Other than these few minor drawbacks, I have never used a more effective bug spray.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    I bought this after reading a review of insect repellents and then researched a little further. IT DOES THE JOB EXTREMELY WELL. It keeps the critters away for a pretty decent amount of time.

    It is a creamy lotion - the plus being you will get good coverage. Some see this as a downer - why? One has to wash their hands no matter which repellent they use.
