The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
My previous pump seal just blew up and it was suppose to be a good pump. I took a chance on this air pump because it adapted very easily to both types of stems. I can tell you it is super easy to use, it has a great configuration for hanging in the garage, and adapting to the right stem is just automagic. I love this air pump!

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
Pumps my bike tires quickly and I can read the pressure w/o disconnecting the pump. This is a quality unit. I even used it to pump up a tire on my car, a bit of work but it did the job.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
the first one died after a month or so. the second one lasted closer to a year. but for an expensive pump like this that's not good enough. started to leak around the head. wouldn't work on shrader valves very well.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
Had this about six months and just returned it. The lever that engages the valve stem just kept coming undone. Seemed to be a problem with the little yellow thingy that held the lever in the head assembly. After about four times popping off, I had enough.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
This seems like a well-built, sturdy pump. The gauge is easy to read and the air bleeding feature is convenient. My gripe is with the "smart head". I have used it only on presta valves. I can't seem to attach the smart head to the valve stem without bleeding off a bunch of air. Then, unless the head is attached just right, air will leak while pumping. Finally, the head grips the valve stem so tightly that you have to really pull to get the head off of the valve stem. This does not bode well for the longevity of your inner tube.
If Topeak would rethink the smart head, they'd have a winner here, because everything else about the pump is very good.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
I've tried several pumps, this one is the best so far. Releasing Presta valves has been frustrating for me. This one does the best I've found. All other aspects of the pump seem to be top notch.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
I thought that with this pump I could have it all. Good quality, stable base, easy pumping action, high mounted gauge, and the ability to use it with ease on any of our bikes, with the Schrader/Presta compatible smart valve. Initially used it just on Presta valves, without any problems. But after I started also using it on Schrader valves, I started having problems with both Presta and Schrader. The soft rubber gaskets quickly wore out, it became balkier when attempting to clamp onto the valve stems, and then the plasic lever and spring assembly broke. As long as I am paying this much to have one pump instead of two, why not put a decent metal valve head with a quality hard rubber gasket on it?

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
I bought this pump last year after my eight year-old Joe Blow Turbo wouldn't pressurize any more. I have been nothing but happy with the quality and the ease of use of the Joe Blow Pro. I use it on my road bike, my mountain bikes, and my car. The only time I've had any problem is when I try to use the pump on presta stems that are too short for the rim. Blaming that problem on the pump is totally unfair.
I see a lot of negative reviews for this pump. With how pleased I have been with it I can only ascribe these problems to user error. The "head pressure" problems are more likely to be a poorly lubed piston O-Ring. Dry piston cups/o-rings are a common problem on all pumps. The fact that it is an O-Ring and not a cup is quite refreshing. In fact I just learned about a way to repair my old Joe Blow Turbo. A new "Joe Blow Rebuild Kit" (which, sadly, REI does not sell) and the Turbo will be good as new. Then I'll have two high-quality, reliable floor pumps.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
I've been pretty happy with other Topeak products, but not this one. After about 2 years, the gauge no longer works, rendering the pump pretty useless. The pump is at the upper end of the price range for floor pumps, so I expected it to last longer.

Comments about Topeak JoeBlow Pro Floor Pump:
[...] This is the third, yes number 3, Joe Blow [...] replaced for me. All the Joe Blow pumps have eventually leaked at the head connection. [...] You'd think TOPEAK would notice the bad reviews they are getting on this expensive pump and be embarassed into fixing the problems.
