Comments about Smith Toaster Sunglasses - Slider Series:
This glasses are awesome! They are great for people who have a small face. They are especially great because they are so light weight that you hardly even know that you have them on. I like them so much I have two pairs (different color, of course). They are great for running (because they are so light weight). I added the polarized lenses for water/snow activities. I have owned a lot of different styles/brands and these are by far the best! I highly recommend them.

Comments about Smith Toaster Sunglasses - Slider Series:
I've had these glasses for 3 years now, and all I've had to replace is a screw on one side. I wear them everyday in every possible scenario (backcountry activities to travel to construction projects) and they provide adequate protection for everything I do. They fit my small face well and are quite flexible, but not to the point that I think durability is sacrificed. The replaceable lenses (colors/options) are an added value. One gripe-the lenses tend to scratch on the periphery while being removed and replaced.

Comments about Smith Toaster Sunglasses - Slider Series:
I purchased these sunglasses seven years ago and I am amazed that not only have I not lost them, but that they are still is good condition. I wear them for everyday use and for cycling and skiing (on warm sunny days). I couldn't have made a better purchase. They are extremely light weight and durable. I often get headaches from sunglasses and these have never given me any problems. The lenses are easy to change out but I find I use the polarized lenses most of the time. They are worth every penny!

I've owned three pair. I still have the original Black Cherry color, and can't remember how many years ago I got them - last year one of the nose pads came off. I lost another pair a few years back (I was crushed), but have since gotten a third. Price has gone up over the years, but still a good value. They hold up well, clean easily due to the slider lenses and are versatile with all those lenses. The yellows are great in the snow. My only lament is that they don't come in prescription, which my aging eyes now need.

I bought these in 2003 - not only do I still have them, I still love them.
I had to upgrade to the polarized lenses for sunny florida - and sometimes in extreme sun I wish the lenses were darker, but all in all the glasses are still going strong!
And yes - these fit a smaller face which is wonderful for some.
I would recommend these!

I wear these glasses for every outdoor activity I engage in - running, hiking, cycling, snowshoeing, etc. I wore them down the Colorado River two years ago, and they held up better than I did.
I love the fact that I can easily switch the lenses - great for an afternoon round of golf, ride, or hike, and the low light lenses allow me to run at night with an extra awareness of what's going on around me.
I had to replace the screw on the right arm once - but that's it, in three years. I still have my 8 year old Voodoo's, too, but these are my everyday lenses.
For those who think they'll "lose" these in a few weeks, trust me, you won't. They're too good to lose.

Comments about Smith Toaster Sunglasses - Slider Series:
I purchased mine in 2004. The ONLY thing wrong with them is the black frame is beginning to become discolored from wear and sweat- after 4 years! I've worn them everyday for four years. I've never had an issue with these. I use a chums strap to keep track of them. The strap wore out before the glasses did.

mirror finish on the lenses rubs off, scratches easily, and wears off.
at certain sun angles the lower clear portion of the frame refracts sunlight into your eyes!

I've had these for a year now. The frame has come apart, and the finish on the frame is peeling. I will never buy another pair. I'd rather buy a cheap [...] pair at a discount store.
