Comments about Continental Continental Ultra Sport Tire - Multiple Sizes:
Bought these in size 700 x 28 to replace 700 x 32 Panaracer Urban Maxes that kept popping off my new rims. I've read reviews that said these are difficult to mount. Aside from pinching a tube, I had no problem getting the bead on the rim using normal methods and a Quickstik, and unlike the tires they replaced, these staid put when I pumped them to pressure. I worried they wouldn't be as comfortable as the bigger tires but I was dead wrong. Tirewall says inflate to 115 lbs but the label says recommended pressure is 80 lbs. At 80 lbs these were really smooth, very supple and even more comfortable than the old 32s. I've only ridden them a few times so I can't really comment on durability. However, I went 18 miles on a rough gravel trail yesterday and these held up just fine. I couldn't be happier with them.

Comments about Continental Continental Ultra Sport Tire - Multiple Sizes:
The tread on these tires is a very soft rubber that picks up glass like crazy. I normally ride a little 10-mile loop and I was pulling 2-3 glass shards out of the front tire after each ride. On average the front would flat every 100 miles. At 300 miles either a piece of glass or a small stone broke the fabric belt and the tire immediately deformed bad enough that I had to replace it.
My rear tire fared a bit better, but by 600 miles the tread was well worn and the tire started flatting. I don't believe you'd be able to get more than 1k miles out of one of these tires on the rear.
For what it's worth, I replaced these tires with Michelin Speedium 2's, which I've been much happier with.

Comments about Continental Continental Ultra Sport Tire - Multiple Sizes:
I average 2.5 miles one way to work and school, haven't really had a problem with them. I'm using the 700x28C, downsizing from a pair of WTB cyclocross tires as my commute now has more asphalt than grass. Haven't had a problem with punctures, I run them at 100 PSI and ride quality is ok.

little rocks and glass sticks to the wheel. Went out for two 15 mile rides, got puncture on both rides.

Comments about Continental Continental Ultra Sport Tire - Multiple Sizes:
I've used the 700x28c version as a front tire for hundreds of commuting miles. This tire picks up large amounts of glass and sharp rocks, big and small, with the big fairly quickly working through the rubber and casing to the tube. I've never had this happen to a front tire before, so this tire is a disappointment. It also takes a long time to pull all the shards out to prevent flats if you want to do that.
