Comments about Wigwam Merino Wool Comfort Hiker Socks:
As a Wildland Firefighter,I can be on Fire lines 24 plus hours at a time with a pack that weighs 30 pounds plus and in 100 degree plus heat. These are my favorite socks.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Wool Comfort Hiker Socks:
Very comfortable, good fitting sock. Does not fall down and has all the great properties of wool, with the comfortable feeling of merino.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Wool Comfort Hiker Socks:
I used these while doing some cold weather camping in Northern Wisconsin where temps got down to 30F at night. I slept with them on and was toasty all night. Another plus is that they were made in Sheboygan, WI rather than overseas.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Wool Comfort Hiker Socks:
These are comfortable, snug-fitting socks. My only complaint is the two days it took a pair to dry on a trip. Perhaps the water was comfortable and didn't want to leave.

Comments about Wigwam Merino Wool Comfort Hiker Socks:
As with all meriono wool clothing I have tested, these socks are comfortable against the skin, control moisture OK, and produce low body odor. I have worn several pairs of these socks around the house and to work all fall and winter. Sometimes I wear them two days in a row and they still smell fine. When I go running, cycling, or hiking in the afternoon, I just keep them on. They're thicker that normal running or cycling socks, but they fit into my shoes and cleats and feel great. They are getting thinner with many wear-wash-dry cycles, but look like they'll still last awhile.
