The Black Diamond Fifi hook makes up an essential part of the aid climber's rack, and this one comes with its own 15cm tubular sling sewn in place for ease of use.

  • Smooth curves and a large mouth allow easy placements
  • Made of 7075-T6 aluminum that has been heat treated, tumbled and anodized
  • As it is intended for aid- or solo-climbing, this hook supports body weight only

      Comments about Black Diamond Fifi Hook:

      The fifi hook isn't supposed to be a replacement for aiders, or jumars, or climbing shoes for that matter. It's *supposed* to release easily, and certainly shouldn't be used by itself unless you're hyper-vigilant.

      The BD fifi is perfect for what it is.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Get an adjustable daisy! I use the Yates one. I have heard that the Metolius one is great to but have never used it. The first time i used this i thought "i might as well learn the basic". Well later on that week as i was practicing in the gym the hook came undone and sent me on a little ride. Well no fall...but daisy chains are only for body weight! Get an adjustable or use the Russian aiders and save your heart from a little jolt!

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
