        This was one of my favorite deserts on a recent trip into the high country, and we agreed that it would also make a great breakfast addition, or a breakfast all by itself. Preparation was as advertised, and the smell of the cinnamon was to die for!

            We take this into the BWCA for one of the last couple nights, after we've used up our fresh food. The flavor is great. This last time, consistency left a bit to be desired, but we were using hot (vs. boiling) water.

            This is a good dessert and tastes like apples; although, I feel it is hard to screw up any apple dish. I would not rate this as excellent due to consistency and would like to see more "crisp"; however, it still tastes very good.
