My husband and I have worn these for years. They are great for three seasons, but hold up well in rain. we use them for travel, as they are easy to get on and off at the airport. Great support for touring, look good with jeans or dress pants. I bought this pair for my 87 year old father who had hip replacement surgery. He can put them on and off without bending too much, and they support his foot and have a good traction sole. These shoes are the best.

I got a coupon for $20 off if I spent $50 and thought of these shoes immediately. I love Merrell shoes and I normally wear a mens size 8.5. However, these are a half of a size too large. I will attempt to exchange them this weekend at the store. I may try a womens but they are always too narrow which is why the mens fit so well. These are the take it out of the box and wear it type of shoes and I am bummed I will have to wait for 3 days to try a smaller size.

bought these to take to oktoberfest/europe in fall 2012, so i would only take one pair of shoes for casual and nice restaurants. WAY happy, as they are wide enough for my feet, and the cobblestones through europe didnt hurt my feet. dressy enough for khakis and a jacket, and casual enough for shorts, but most important, simply the most comfortable shoe for the task that i tried. i tried merrell, keen, salomon, clarks...about 6 different vendors and styles, these were the best.

Just bought my 5th pair this morning. I love these shoes. Wish REI still carried the tan ones! Other comments about wear are accurate...I get 1-1.5 years on these things before I have to renew. Keep in mind, they're not made for backpacking or other high intensity use. I travel a bunch and these are great for airports...slip on/off, stylish enough to wear with nice slacks but casual enough for jeans. Bit pricy for basic kick around shoes but fit couldn't be better, nor comfort. Can't miss.

Since buying my first pair nearly 18 years ago, some verison of the Merrell Jungel Mocs are the only shoes I buy. I try to buy them during the annual 20% off sale, but I will still buy them at full price. These shoes are the ultimate in comfort and foot bed support. They feel broken in the moment you put them on. And...they are the most waterproof shoes that I have ever worn, ever! I wear these every day at work, at home and at play. The soles are the only drawback. Different models have different sole patterns, which wear at different rates. I typically try for 12 months but usually get around 10 months out of the soles. But, these are the only shoes that I own and when the soles wear too much to be safe for my job, they still have about 2 years life for around the house and gardening use. In fact the worn out soles are perfect for gardening as there are no cleats to collect mud to track in the house. If I could pick my own star rating I would give them a 9.9 out of 10, with the sole wear being the only detraction. My usual scheme is to buy a pair in February, retire my three year old shoes, move my current daily shoes to semi-regular wear and send the two year shoes to the gardning bin.
No kidding, these will become your favorite shoes of all time if you are into comfort rather than fashion.
