Comments about Finish Line Multi-Degreaser - 20 oz. Can:
A while ago I wrote a review of Speed Clean in which I basically described it as the best degreaser for bikes, but I forgot about this stuff. Speed Clean only comes in a spray can and dries really fast, which is great for almost everything, except for when I want to take a part off my bike and soak it, like when I’m rebuilding my hubs. For that I use Multi, which comes in a pour can and doesn’t evaporate right away. I like it better than citrus-based degreasers because it doesn’t attack rubber and plastic, so I don’t have to worry about damaging parts like seals, or damaging the finish on my frame. And as far as I can tell, it’s just as strong as any citrus degreaser that I’ve tried. I can usually drop a part in a can filled with Multi, shake it around, and then just wipe it dry, and the dirt comes right off, even if it’s kind of ground in. In fact, I usually dilute the degreaser to stretch it, also when I use it to clean the floor where I work on my bikes. A wonderful all-purpose cleaner that lasts for a really long time. A great value.
