This carrying case protects your valuable Coleman gas lantern from bumps and scrapes while in storage or during transport.

  • Injection-molded polyethylene construction is lightweight and yet durable; interior is shaped to fit the lantern for a secure fit when closed
  • Oversize carry handle is easy to grab; storage room in base holds extra mantles or other small items
  • Fits lantern models 285, 286, 288, 214, and several other older liquid fuel lanterns

      Protects the lantern well. Clips at bottom can be a bit fiddly. Still have to remember to release the pressure when traveling on the lantern.

      I have never broken a globe when I use this case. I have another lantern in a soft case and I'm 0-5 with that one. Spend the extra money and buy the hard case!
      Only down fall is the locking mechanism is a little flimsy and I sometimes wonder if the whole thing will open up and my lantern will fall out. So far so good . . . Knock on wood.

        This fists my 2 lantern lamp perfectly. There is even a little room between the base and where the lamp locks in to store extra mantles.
