Comments about MSR Alpine Kitchen Cupboard:
Handy product. Kicked the crud out of mine, like all my gear, and like all my MSR stuff, it still keeps doing what I need it to. The container is great for scrambling eggs and mixing dry stew; not to mention it holds up to boiling water for sterilization. The inner compartment makes a great spoon/utensil rest when cooking(much better than a rock by the stove.)And the larger containers included work great for tea/coffee and sugar. The small ones are good for S+P and spices, the only problem is, which spices to take.

Comments about MSR Alpine Kitchen Cupboard:
I've had this setup for more than 10 years. In that time my wife and I did a 8 week car camping trip to Canada. We still use it. Throw in a sponge with biodegradable soap and it is all you need. Fits inside the MSR cook set. The small containers leak cooking oil so find another. Nalgene may be more secure.

Comments about MSR Alpine Kitchen Cupboard:
There's actually more room in the container, so you can add lots of stuff in too, like condiments, matchbooks, even a small cloth. We've used ours for a few years and it has held up well and is easy to clean up.

Comments about MSR Alpine Kitchen Cupboard:
This is a perfect organizer for your kitchen spices and primary utensils. I have garlic salt, onion, crushed red pepper, & chives in the smaller vials, and a salt/pepper mix & sugar in the two bigger vials. There's extra room in the container, so I added camp suds and a two extra Naglene bottles for olive oil and coffee creamer. I've also used the container to rinse out dishes, which isn't ideal b/c of the size, but convenient when you're trying to pack lighter. It's on the bulkier side, so I'd leave it at home for extended backpacking trips where space is a premium, but it's perfect for car camping & weekend trips. The ladle also has measurements (full ladle = 1/3 cup), so a nice extra.

Comments about MSR Alpine Kitchen Cupboard:
I got this about a year ago, and it's been with me on every camping trip since.
The main case is great for mixing either dry or wet goods before you cook them up, and it's pretty easy to clean. The center compartment is removable, so you can keep your utensils handy with out cluttering up the cooking area. And I love all the containers that come with it! Not many, but still, enough to have quite a few spices with you out in the boonies to kick up the campsite cooking a bit! The small ones are prefect for salt, pepper, and other small granular spices. The larger containers are good for some bulkier ones, like basil, bay leaves, or even other dried ingredients. There is a little extra room inside, so you could squeeze in another container or two if needed
It keeps everything nice and compact. It can fit inside some pots and pans, but I usually store my stove there, but I haven't had an issue with it being on it's own.
If you are looking for a simple and very packable way to add utensils and ingredient/spice containers to your camping gear, then check this kit out!
