This Black Diamond daisy chain is constructed with 13 pockets to allow climbers to clip in at varying lengths from protection.

  • Each pocket has a strength of 3 kN; overall strength of the daisy is rated at 16 kN
  • Large half-twist loop on one end girth-hitches cleanly to a climber's harness
  • Ideal for alpine climbing because it absorbs very little water
  • Pound-for-pound, Dynex is stronger than steel and has great abrasion resistance and durability
  • Dynex is also more flexible and lighter weight than nylon with superb impact resistance and water repellency climbers appreciate

Comments about Black Diamond 12mm Dynex Daisy Chain:

I got a daisy chain for cleaning lead climbing routes, and I was less than impressed. The multiple loops make it easy to adjust, but it can only be used for one point of contact. I replaced mine with a P.A.S. and have been much happier. The daisy chain is now used for quickdraw storage only.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
