    I have used this product for over 20 years.I still have a can from 1986. Yes it can be messy, so can any spray. But it works better than any oil lubricant I have ever used. I have had it free up a completely frozen power transfer unit.

    I second Holtman's opinion. Tri-Flow is the best, but the aerosol version is a big mess. Get the liquid version instead. You can drip exactly as much of the liquid as needed exactly where needed, instead of spraying the aerosol all over everything.

    I use tri-flow with some other lubes on my chain and bike parts. the stuff works great, just don't get the aerosol can. i suppose the aerosol works well for many applications, but when working on your chain you end up spraying the whole bike with lube instead of getting it where you want. highly recommend tri-flow ... just buy the bottle of it.
