The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Quik Stik Tire Changer:
Throw your tire levers away, this tool makes tire changing easy. I was able to change both tires on my mountain bike in about 10 minutes with this single tool and that's with me not having much experience with tire change-outs. The instructions and illustrations on the packaging make using the tool intuitive. It's so much easier to deal with one Quik Stick than it is three tire levers.
This tool is made from molded nylon, so it's strong enough to pry tires, but since part of the operation requires you to slide the tool along the rim, the tool is obviously, gradually wearing along its groove and will require replacement eventually. I am sure this is true with all similar tools, but is worth mentioning.
This was a great buy--it makes a somewhat annoying job easy, is lightweight, tough, and doesn't take a lot of room up in the Camelbak.

Comments about Quik Stik Tire Changer:
Ive had and have been using the QUICKSTICK for about 5 or 6 years, and it is the best tire tool ive ever had. I ride alot, and in many places. have had lots of flats and this tool takes tires off like a hot knife through butter. I love how its not as heavy as even 1 old school tire lever. but over the years ive been noticing its begining to flex when in a tight tire. But its 5 years old it may be time for a new one. Not everything lasts forever. I meen it was only [$] I know Ive goten my moneys worth from it.[$] + 5 years = An Awsome Tool!

I have been looking for these forever. I used these back in the day and loved them. Tires go on and off like a dream and no worries of nicking the tube.

Comments about Quik Stik Tire Changer:
It works great the first couple of times... also depends on the tire toughness recently broke 2 tire levers putting on studs. This got it on eventually but it probably needs replacing. Buy 2-3 just in case, along with regular tire levers it helps out to use both.

Comments about Quik Stik Tire Changer:
I have an older Trek road bicycle and this was my first set of kevlar bead tires and 700c rims. I had a terrible time trying to put on the tires with my tire levers from the Topeak traveling tool kit that I typically use. I ended up breaking one of them. So I began shopping around for tire levers based on reviews. I settled on this one from REI and I was very disappointed. The price is right, but I'd rather pay more for something that doesn't require so much hand strength. I'm 5'2" and I have small hands and wrists. It has good leverage because the plastic is nice and thick, but the dull end make it hard to get the tire started and the lever does slip once its been in place. I gave it two stars because I'm sure it works really well for some people, but this is going back to the store for me.

Comments about Quik Stik Tire Changer:
I discovered this at a local bike shop and it's come in handy for mounting new Continental road tires which have a reputation for being tight on certain wheels. It definitely helps but the end of mine, the part you put on the rim, has become a bit gnarled and the new edges might chew into a tube. I carry it in my bag along with tire levers.

Comments about Quik Stik Tire Changer:
This product makes changing a tire or tube simple and quick! I changed the knobbies on my mountain bike to inverted tread in ten minutes. It really is the only tool you need to remove the tire. The only problem is I'm not sure how long it will last since it's made from plastic but it does feel pretty sturdy. Highly recommend.
