The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
Absolutely delicious!
I used this product for the first time in the winter season (while snowshoeing). My sister-in-law and I had been going for about 3 hours without any food. I was about to pass out because of the lack of nutrition and I told her that. She reached into her pocket and took out a tiny package, the sesame snaps of course, she gave it to me and as soon as I took a bite I felt ready to go.
That was my first experience with the sesame snaps and I've used it on several other ocassions.
It's great for taking the edge off hunger, and taste pretty darn good. Well worth the money! I can't wait to see how it will do in the summer season!
I have no cons for this product.

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
These are a great snack that is fast and very tasty! I started buying these at a local supermarket before every backpacking trip i did. I am excited that REI is selling them! They are a great way to keep your stomach satisfied when starving. Sesame seeds are a great source of energy and very nutritious.I get about 2 per day when backpacking.

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
These don't melt are high energy (good mix of carbs, fat and protein), very tasty and much cheaper and lighter in weight than all of those fancy bars out there. I carry them back country skiing and alpine climbing for quick and lasting energy hits when burning 800 calories per hour, also in my car for those days I don't get time to stop and eat.

These are a better option than the bars. Taste better than all so far but Zing Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip which is my favorite.

An excellent boost while you are on the go and a great alternative to typical trail snacks. Who thought sesame seeds could be so tasty. Pregnant wife approved.

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
These things are so good I buy them by the box (the 20% discount doesn't hurt either). I love the toasted sesame taste and with a slightly sweet taste they are perfect. I have a hard time not eating more than one package at a time. They are perfect for backpacking since they are very lightweight, tasty, don't need to be prepared and are packed with calories. They will fit in almost any pocket with ease.

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
Keep these in my little belt pouch while backpacking. Delicious little pick-me-up while in the backcountry. They do leave a slightly strange aftertaste though. Very lightweight, slightly sweet sesame taste, kept me going when I was getting tired after a couple hours.
Careful of how you keep your wrappers at night in bear country though, these are sweet smelling and I'm sure bears would love them, so keep the trash in your bear bag/canister (I know this goes without saying...).

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
Not terribly filling but tastes great and they're pretty small. Easy to stash in any pocket. I ordered a half dozen because of the positive reviews that I saw here and they definitely lived up to expectations. I'll be ordering quite a few more and they'll definitely be in my pack the next time that I take a trip.

Comments about Sesame Seed Snaps:
I've been using these tasty snacks for the 33 years I have been a member of REI. Why, because they are so flavorful, and packed with calories.
Same calories as a power bar, 2/3 the weight, half the cost.
