Comments about Crazy Creek Canoe Chair:

This is a great product and a must have for a long canoe trip. It's lightweight and durable, but comfortable and supports the back. The only drawback is the mesh pocket. It's very handy for storing items you need quick access to, but after the first few days of using it, it quickly tore.

Comments about Crazy Creek Canoe Chair:

I've had my Crazy Creek Chair for nearly 13 yrs and use it multiple times a year for trips to the BWCA. Just last year I leaned into it too hard while paddling into a strong wind and one of the straps holding the chair to my canoe seat came loose. I took it to a local shoe repair place, they sewed it back on and it is good as new. It provides comfort in the canoe as well as at the camp site.

Comments about Crazy Creek Canoe Chair:

Te problem is that no matter how tight you have the straps, when you tip back the seat tips up. You wont fall back or anything but the feel of support is minimal. You also get very hot in this seat and your sweat will go up.

Comments about Crazy Creek Canoe Chair:

These chairs make a long day of paddling a little easier as the padded cushion beats a hard canoe seat. The earlier comment is correct that the seat doesn't provide a lot of back support. If you really tighten up the side straps, it provides some, but the are not designed for "leaning back."

I would prefer that the attachment straps went the other way around the canoe seat. I guess they were trying to make a generic design that would work with all seat styles. I still like mine fine, and they look nice on the canoe.
