These rectangular crossbars are one component of a Thule car top rack system.

  • Bars span vehicle's roof providing the point of attachment for gear mounts and accessories

The Thule system held my 62 pound canoe in place for 1400 miles on a recent trip to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. During that time I drove 70 mph through 45 mph crosswinds and on rough backroads. The Thule load bars held firm. My canoe never budged. The whole system worked like it's supposed to!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
