I've had this shovel for years and it's served me for everything from BC snow test pits while snowboarding, to digging out the car after a big storm over the weekend, to making flat campsites and dinner tables for groups of 12. I've had it for close to a decade now and I find every year I'm using it more and more and it's been perfect. There are now lighter shovels but this thing holds an edge for digging ice and the handle length and comfortable D handle make it irreplaceable to me. It doesn't leave my car, except to go on my pack, from October to May!

I have used this shovel for several years now. I bought it to use for snow removal on trails around the Sunrise area at Mount Rainier National Park when I was a volunteer there. It's also been great use for winter camping as well. The telescoping feature is great and is helpful for me since I am kind of a tall guy.

Overall quality is great and the product has held up really well.
