The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Open Country Campers 23'' x 12'' Grid:
I backpack and car camp so buying a big camp stove just for car camping seemed a little unecessary. This was a good option because it's cheap and doesn't take up much room in the closet/car...and there's just something good about cooking over the open fire when you're camping. I like that I don't have to worry about fuel and that you can clean it with a grill brush so there's no dish clean-up (just make sure you bring a trash bag to transport it in)The only thing I didn't like about it was the wider grates on the one side. The larger spacing on the one side is fine if your using a pan on it but I've definitely lost some meat into the fire, so beware. The other struggle is fitting it into the fire ring, so consider that when you're building one.

Comments about Open Country Campers 23'' x 12'' Grid:
For a family away on a long camping trip this proved to be a very useful item that I'm sure saved us a fortune in propane canisters. Does get very dirty but we just made sure we had a plastic bag to transport it in & all was good. Allowed us to keep the stove much cleaner as it basically became the place to boil & the Grid cooked all the meat. Also meant the cooking became a shared activity as there were two areas where things were cooked & everyone joined in. For the price it would be nice to see it come in its own cover/case for isolating the dirtiness it accumulates (through the cooking process) for transportation.

Comments about Open Country Campers 23'' x 12'' Grid:
This product works very well, but after use it becomes absolutely filthy (obviously). If it included some sort of heavy-duty, and washable storage bag it would be perfect, but since it doesn't you can expect anything and everything it comes in contact with (including you, your table, your vehicle, your packs, etc) to get black gunk all over it until you can get it home and hose it off.

Comments about Open Country Campers 23'' x 12'' Grid:
Perfect in the BWCAW in January. Collapsible-- took up virtually no space in the bottom of my ski pulk. Set up in the snow as a basic table and stand for my stoves. Never used over the fire-- but I'm sure it would work fine.
