REI Members get back an estimated 10% on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

        Comments about Aluminum Pot Lifter:

I got tired of trying to move hot lids with gloves and or bandannas. Stumbled across this tool at REI and bought one on impulse. Just used it on a three day trip and it performs brilliantly. I suppose it could dent lighter pans and pots. I use it with an open country 2 qt pot and it works wonderfully with it. It makes it easy to poor boiling water into mugs, bowls and food packets!

Ok, so you CAN get away with lifting hot pots and lids using a bandana as a potholder, but why bother when you can use this?

This handy little tool weighs nothing (well, ok - 3/32lb). It is an excellent way to trim down on weight for the minimalist. Virtually indestructible. No cons.

            Comments about Aluminum Pot Lifter:

These pot grippers are exactly what I was looking for. Very simple design, good value. They work easily on the main pot as well as the pot lid. They are easy to pack and lightweight.
The only problem with these is when lifting a large, heavier pot, they tend to dig into your hand a bit.

            Comments about Aluminum Pot Lifter:

Great for replacing flimsy pot lifters that come with your pot set (I replaced the one that came with my MSR 2L Titan). These pot lifters grip really well and hold a pot full of water and transports it easily from fire to table.

If you're in need of a really good, and really simple, potlifter then you can't go wrong with this one.

Very grippy, but will dent thinner pots.

            Comments about Aluminum Pot Lifter:

Grips very well & price was right, but using a 36 oz. "grease pot" (thin aluminum) it dented the pot each time I used it. Probably fine on thicker pots though.

Great product for being so cheap and made out of aluminum. I have only used this a few times but overall this is great. I have a 1.5 liter pot and it can easily lift that with water in it.

                  Comments about Aluminum Pot Lifter:

Lift your pots without fear! I have many pots and pans, some with handles and some without. Either way, with or without handles, they all get hot over a fire or a cook stove and this little beauty is a life saver. You can't beat the price, it weighs nothing, fits in most stowed pots/pans, and absolutely beats burns and scalding on you hands. Great little comfort item.
