            Comments about Camp Time Roll-A-Cot:

The Roll-A-Cot delivers! My daughter and I plan to take many weekend camping/hiking trips this year, and comfort is important. I have difficulty sleeping on the ground, even with the aid of a pad or air mattress. A cot seemed to be a logical choice. After reading other reviews on the Roll-A-Cot, we decided to give it a try. Both my daughter and I have tested out the cot at home. It is light weight, which is a plus, and it is easy to assemble. There is no bar running through the middle, so an annoying bar digging in to your back. Little to no noise when turning from side to side, and you're able to adjust the tension a bit. With a sleeping pad and bag on top, it's extremely comfortable! The one down side is the price. It's a bit on the expensive side, which is the only reason we're not giving it 5 stars.

I have degenerative arthritis in my spine. I slept comfortably on one of these cots a total of about three weeks the first summer. It was a keeper so I bought another one for my wife. These cots are very well made. Set up is quick.

                Comments about Camp Time Roll-A-Cot:

I have used a pad with this cot but in very hot weather, the venting of the mesh helped keep me cool without the pad. It's comfortable, sturdy, durable and just the right size for me (6ft, 180). It's also handy for overnight guests and sleepovers for the kids.

                Comments about Camp Time Roll-A-Cot:

Use: I use this to sleep downstairs in the summer with a cotton sleep sack. Good features: The mesh bottom lets the fan blow cool air all around me, so it is even cooler than sleeping on a mat on the floor. In the winter, you'd probably want to add a sleeping pad underneath to buffer the cold air. I'm only 5'1"/110 lb, so I don't bother with the tensioning wingnuts. They look like the feature most likely to annoy. The cot has a gentle dip, but I actually find that more comfortable than sleeping on a board-like surface. The velcro set-up is ingenious and easy on the hands. Warnings: If you sleep in a sleeping bag or a sleep sack, beware the cot flip--I think this would happen with any cot that has legs positioned in from the ends--the first morning, I wasn't quite awake when i wriggled up out of my sleeping bag (instead of unzipping), and I was up at the very tip top of the cot, so it tipped up and dumped me and the cat onto our rumps. All in all, I think it is worth it not to have those cross-bars at the ends to bump head and heels against. I keep it assembled all summer (just tipped up against the wall) except when company comes over, so I can't predict how it would hold up to a daily reassembly.

                      Comments about Camp Time Roll-A-Cot:

This is a very sturdy cot that is made in the USA. It is easy to put together, and easy to pack in your car. It is made of vinyl coated polyester, with each side havine 3 different lengths of aluminum tubing. The legs are also aluminum, with a simple, yet effective design. Once you put this together, there is virtually NO SAG when I am laying on it. I weight about 175 pounds, and I can bounce up and down on it slightly, without any problems. My only complaint is that upon opening up the product, the vinyl coating on the polyester fabric gives off a slight smell. In time though, I expect that smell to dissapate. If you want to see how to assemble the cot, and how sturdy it is. Go to Youtube, and type themarkfellows2. I will also attach my video review at the bottom, but sometimes REI strips them out. There doesn't seem to be any ryme or reason to when they do this, but if they do, check it out on my youtube channel...

                        Comments about Camp Time Roll-A-Cot:

This cot works really well. With a thin camping pad it's as comfortable as a regular or hotel bed.

I've taken it car camping and thought it was great but then 3-4 guests slept on it at home and thought it was as good as a hotel bed (w the pad). That's subjective but it seems true.

Probably got a dozen uses in one year. Looks sturdy. Packs up easy. A well designed product.
