    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good back support I have degenerative arthritis in my spine. I slept comfortably on one of these cots a total of about three weeks the first summer. It was a keeper so I bought another one for my wife. These cots are very well made. Set up is quick.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy plus comfort The Roll-A-Cot delivers! My daughter and I plan to take many weekend camping/hiking trips this year, and comfort is important. I have difficulty sleeping on the ground, even with the aid of a pad or air mattress. A cot seemed to be a logical choice. After reading other reviews on the Roll-A-Cot, we decided to give it a try. Both my daughter and I have tested out the cot at home. It is light weight, which is a plus, and it is easy to assemble. There is no bar running through the middle, so an annoying bar digging in to your back. Little to no noise when turning from side to side, and you're able to adjust the tension a bit. With a sleeping pad and bag on top, it's extremely comfortable! The one down side is the price. It's a bit on the expensive side, which is the only reason we're not giving it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value This cot is extremely easy to set up and very comfortable for a great night sleep. I spent a week on it during a Grand Canyon river trip and never slept so well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, Comfortable and Easy to Set Up It was this or the cheaper 79.99 cot at REI. I paid extra for the lighter cot and don't regret it. This is a very light, easy to set up cot that gave my son and I, on separate occasions, a good night's sleep. We've only used this for car camping, but the light weight makes a difference when carting the gear from the lot to the site. Spend the extra cash and get a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy so far I have a dozen nights on this cot and it has been a welcome addition to my car camping equipment. It folds up small and is easy to store. I sleep 100x better than on the ground and it is nice to be able to sit up on it. The storage bag helps keep all my tent items close at hand. Only down sides are that the material is breathable which is great when it is hot and you are lounging in the shade but provides no insulation when cold, and it is a little narrow and my knees hit the side bar when I sleep on my side. I have not had any problems with the legs or stability and I toss and turn a lot at night. Great Cot and I will buy another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good night's sleep After sleeping on blow-up mattresses for several years when camping, this is a great improvement. It is so easy to get out of bed when needed. I never considered a cot before because I thought it was just too much silly gear for camping but I admit I was wrong. We recently camped at Linville Gorge in NC and found the cots to be a great comfort in wilderness sleeping. We were car camping and needed to use a taller tent but I wish I would have purchased these years ago. I don't know how they will be in winter camping but they were great with a backpack pad in 50 degree weather. They were quick and easy to assemble and take down but the only thing that I worry about is how long they will last in that they are very light and I don't know how strong they will be over time.
