Most comfortable boots that I've owned
Bought these Outpaths for light backcountry use but they're so warm and comfortable that I've started using these over my RC's. Went on an overnight XC accessible cabin trip last week and while my partners immediately swapped out their XC ski boots upon arrival, I continued wearing mine throughout the day since they were so comfortable. Unless you're a serious about lap times and weight, I can't see a downside to wearing these boots as your quiver boot. Especially if you have cold feet.
Nice boots
I bought two pair of these boots, First, for myself and then I was so impressed that I ordered a pair for my wife. It was nearing the end of the season but we still got to use them plenty enough to know that we both really like them. My wife is a beginner and I would say that I WAS an intermediate who is reacquainting with x-country skiing after many, many, years of leave from the sport. As in decades. Let’s just say that we’re not quite as agile or spry as we once were and for this reason we like the fact that the boots feel sturdy but are also light in weight. The liner is comfortable and warm, too. We like the easy lacing system and the features that help to keep snow out and the feet dry. We’ll now welcome and enjoy the coming spring, summer, and fall seasons, but with this gear in hand, we’ll also be looking forward to when the next x-country ski season comes around, too.
REI Reading
Both Deborah and Matt were patient and went out of their way to be very helpful. I felt without their help I would have walked out of the store without the Salomon Xcountry boot
Very warm and comfortable
I have cold feet and these keep them warm with thin wool socks. There is room to put a heat pack above the laces near the toes before you zip it up
Great fit and appearance
Like all my other Solomon footwear these boots fit like a glove. They appear to be well constructed and will probably outlast me. Thanks Solomon
