[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these boots for my hiking trips in Arizona, Utah and lately in Alaska… I normally do trails in any conditions. Unfortunately these boots started to fall apart after year one and are not sturdy at all. Shoe soles seems new despite miles under them but the skin peels off especially on the sides and at every bump against branches or rocks the top of the shoes peels off. The shoe is waterproof but disappointing to see a hiking shoe so fragile.
I bought these boots from a third party retailer and I took them on an 8 mile hike and portions of the soles started cracking off and chipping after one use. very disappointed with the the quality of the sole. I stand by Columbia products but these were terrible quality. I have used these boots once and haven't used them since.
Absolutely the worst pair of shoes I've ever owned. Leather sarted cracking in a week. Soles on both shoes fell off after a month within days of one another. Has to do an emergency repair on the soles because I was at work (see the screws & liquid nails in pictures). I used to buy Columbia all the time, but my relationship with them has now ended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item in November 2023 and used started using it by Feb 2024. After the third use, the grid bottom part is falling apart.
after buying Columbia products for over 35 years, this is the first item that has failed me. I broke these boots in walking around the office for the first summer I had them. Before I even got on the trail the sole on one started to separate. I put it down as a rarity and fixed it myself. I then went on a few hikes, less than 20 miles on these boots and the other sole started to separate as well. Pretty disappointing and not worth taking the chance of complete separation miles into the wilderness.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are exactly as pictured. This is the second time I have bought this style of boot and they are my FAVORITE. They have a nice sturdy toe on them, so I wont break anymore toes on my hikes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] beautiful and perfect size. I wear a 9 in sneakers and some 8.5, in this case I bought 8.5 and it was ideal.
Burgundy more look alike, but very nice look and grip.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love hiking and was looking for a shoe that is comfortable , waterproof , lighweight and easy to walk on rocks and terrains that are slippery. This shoe fitted all my needs I had. Last week we went for hike in Yosemite that was 15-18 miles with elevation of close to 5500 ft and route covered terrains that had waterfalls, rocks, mud. I felt very comfortable while hiking as cushions are very good, ankles fit in perfectly, all comfortable and good grip when climbing rocks. Although by end of our hike, the shoe was covered with dust but it was easy to clean by wiping with a wet cloth or wipe. So, overall I recommend this shoe for hiking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love boots. I have had a lot of them. I do a lot of hiking and backpacking. One reason I have had a number of boots is because as I have aged my feet have grown (as my arches have flattened out) and consequently, I have had to discard my old boots for bigger sizes; I used to wear 12s and now I need a 13. I ordered these online. I was told if they did not fit I could bring them in to a Columbia store or mail them back in. They came and fit perfectly. Since then I have walked a number of times in them and have used them in the snow. They are comfortable and waterproof. The tread holds well even on slippery surfaces. What more could I ask for?
