Bought this for my grandson who is 10 and just now learning to snowboard. His pass is in the sleeve pocket which is super convenient as he also wears this to school. Warm to at least 20 degrees (tested).
It keeps you very warm because it’s thermal function.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got our first snow in Buffalo and this jacket has been wonderful for our 3 year old. The snap close on the inside of the jacket keeps the cold air out in the wind, the hood is adjustable from the bcback keeping the hood out of his eyes, and th arms have velcro adjustable wrists along with an inner sleeve so nothing is getting in! Great coat. Will be buying again when he grows out of this one.
This coat is looonnngggggg. My son is a tall 10 year old and it comes mid thigh on him. It’s super warm and is the excellent quality you get from Columbia. The large fit him but not a lot of room for growth. The xl fit better but was about 2-3 inches longer. We’ve never had this issue with Columbia before so maybe this style just fits odd.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] replaced previous jacket for 8 y/o. prevoius jacket's zipper stuck, was too tight around waist to confortably wear snowpants, and was too thin. THis one is warm, lightweight, and son likes it, although it does run a little large. with the stitch expand, I expect he'll use this for at least 3 winters.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warm and toasty. Great for my son and I am so glad it can grow with him. Living in Minnesota it is hard to find a good winter coat that can last theough the whole winter, this coat will be great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an exceptionally well made winter coat. My son is delighted with it and we are so excited for him to try it out in the snow when we travel home to see family!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son liked it. He hasn't had a chance to wear it yet but it looks and feels nice. I wish there were more/better color options.
5 star for torso warmth 1 star for HUGE hood that allows snow to get resulting in a wet and freezing head and neck.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid was warm. I bought it big so he could wear layers underneath. Love that it extends. It will last a while.
