Literal Trash, Almost Ruined My Vacation
This entire company is a joke. The quality is literal trash compared to 5 years ago. The part of these swim trunks that house the ties do not connect to rest on the suit in any meaningful way. It’s just a 6 inch loop that doesn’t tighten or hold the suit up, and a loose random snap underneath that ALSO doesn’t connect to the tie part creates an insane gay where like 4 inches of your stomach is hanging out or the fabric is buldging out inches. No in between. The fit is absolutely horrific, they do not understand plus sizing at all! You can’t just size up straight sizing. This company is trash, they don’t care about their customers, their junk is expensive and low quality, and poorly made.
Worth the $$$
Best swim shorts I've found. Hands down - they fit well, good quality fabric, and the elastic doesn't move in the waist. The length was perfect, too. I hate traditional “female” cut shorts cuz it shoes off my least favorite part of my body: my upper thighs. This hides that without being too long.
The dinosaurs vanished… and did not come back
The dinosaurs vanished… :( I went swimming with these and was amazed at first when the dinosaurs appeared just as advertised! The trunks themselves are high quality and well made. But less then 1/2 hour in the pool and I noticed the fabric was solid black again. I was so sad. I got out and got back in but no luck. I bought these because I wanted magic dinosaurs the whole time I am swimming but that is not what happened.
Run small but great once fitting!
They ran a little small so I had to exchange for a size up but once I had the right fit these became my new favorite shorts. Perfect for whitewater kayaking, long enough to keep the thigh braces from chafing. Seams are placed well and flat so I don't even notice them. Ordered them in black too.
Room to improve
This style's drawstring doesn't actually tighten anything and the flaps sit weirdly on my torso, making me look bloated ( I'm an XS). It also poofs at the hips, which I don't like because of dysphoria , but otherwise not a problem. These shorts are very durable, though.
Good quality but not great fit
These were wider in the leg than I had hoped and was my main reason for the return. My hips are significantly larger than my legs and that caused a lot of extra fabric in the leg that made them feel way too loose
Love this brand!
I love this brand - the look, the fit, the concept. Bought 4 piece swim wear / fit perfectly. Get so many compliments. Thank you for making smart looking swim wear for other than super tiny build.
Under liner
I love these board shorts, however I wish they only had a swim liner instead of spandex shorts liner. They just rise up and become a nuisance. You should change liner like other liners.
Cute shorts, strange fit.
Sizing is odd, runs much smaller in the waist than I am used to for tomboyx. I like the overall style a lot, though. Just not the fut.
Slow Drying
My only complaint is that it took a very look time for the material to dry. Not an asset in a swimsuit.
