Great jacket just no pockets and not great venting
I am 5'5" 145lbs and I take a XS in this jacket. The Core Rain Jacket is light, windproof/waterproof, fully taped seams and has an Aquaguard zipper to keep out the rain, elastic cord for a better fit, and pretty tight wrist gaskets to keep out the water. Where this jacket kind of looses me is the ventilation in that Rapha does include armpit vents but they are so minimal this jacket starts to heat up pretty quickly and it be once thing if the jacket had a two way zipper allowing you to vent more, but it doesn't. However the biggest problem with this jacket is the zero pockets. Rapha for whatever reason on a lot of their stuff simply forgoes pockets.
Rapha got it right as usual.
Sadly I couldn't getthis in xxl. The xl is fine for thinner riders but I have a Rapha Explore pullover 1/2 zip which has been designed specifically for bike riding from the functional built in brim on the hood to the one handed toggle pulls to adjust the hem this brand is top of the line and the lightweight waterproof Core full zip fabric felt great and it was sad for me to return it wihout a larger replacement.
