Filter pitcher and collapsible squeeze "bottle"

the pitcher is a wonderful product.... have purchased them for my Illinois and Wisconsin homes. Have also leaned on my (adult) children to do the same for themselves. As well as for my health conscious Office Manager. I also purchased for my youngest son your 1L Peak Series Collapsible Squeeze: in 2 weeks he'll be backpacking in Yosemite, and it's the perfect solution to quickly being able to fill his personal Nagene bottle, and filtering water for cooking meals for 4; Sorry it took me as long as it did to find you.

Works for me

I love this pitcher! The filtration provides me with easy access to tap water. I have had a rare infection that is associated with tap water - I know go figure. This is my backup quick source of water, otherwise, I boil water for 10 minutes before drinking. The pitcher is easy to clean and to change filters. I have been using this pitcher and other LifeStraw products (Go Water Bottle and Peak Filter) for a couple of years now and they are life-changing for me.

Why I'm NOT a fan of LifeStraw.

I have been corresponding with Brenda about the issues I'm having with your product. Whereas it worked fine for the first week or so, I am having significant problems with the filter that is part of the unit. Within a week or two of using it daily on my hikes, it becomes very difficult to draw water from the unit. I use the backwash unit daily, and at Brenda's suggestion have also started soaking the filter for 10 minutes per day, which helps.....but only for a day or two. Brenda sent me a replacement filter, but the issue remains the same. AT this point I'm very disappointed in your product. I also mentioned to Brenda that you name, which is printed in white on the side of the bag has now almost totally worn off....in less than three months, which does NOT have anything to do with the malfunction of the unit, but seems odd given that the unit is either in my backpack or sitting in the refrigerator.

Fresh Water!!!!

We use our Lifestraw to filter our spring water. It was a life saver when we went through Helene in the NC mountains where we live. I recommend the 8 Liter which is the one we use.

Amazing product

My wife and I have been using life straw for years. We do a lot of camping and hiking and overlanding. These small peak series are amazing. I’m an environmental engineer and my wife is a medical student. This have 1000% exceeded my expectations. Will continue to purchase and recommend to everyone I can. Thanks for the amazing products. Keep up the good work.

Convenient

I like it it’s nice not to have to sit and filter but would be nice to have this in a three liter version for through hikers and I’m almost certain that the filter will outlast the membrane they wear out pretty fast when your using them every day on thru hike well I’ll see I used it first time yesterday in Olympic national park worked nice

Backwash/ Cleaning

I have two collapsible peak series and one works with sufficient flow the other does not. The backwash cleaning of filter is not workable. The plunger draws about an inch and then a clog of some sort prevents any further water to pass. Result is difficult to use and flush-clean. My two filters do not back flush like tutorial video.

Better than Sawyer

Got rid of all of my Sawyer filters and have switched to the Lifestraw peak ecosystem after one backpacking trip. Flow rate is significantly better, water quality is fantastic, and they use considerably less packaging for their product. Lifestraw made it easy and I was able to Spend more time enjoying my hike than filtering water.

Awesome filter

The backpackers rave about the squeeze. We tried it. Great for UL through hiking. Not so good for many people. When I pull this out, people line up! It works so good. Fast, easy to clean, water quality is so good. Love it… The filters doubled in price tho?!?!. Used it for backpacking.

Peak solo review

Used as intended for backpacking trip. The trip itself was 2 nights 3 days and I had no problem filtering water. Flow rate was amazing. As a personal preference, however, I boiled and let my water cool down first before filtering with peak solo. Thank you lifestraw!
