I liked this coat for all the reasons in the reviews. I ordered 16 instead of 12 and it was GIANT. I recommend trying one size up. I realized it’s not Gortex, was heavier than I wanted, and not quite long enough (I’m 5’9”). Was afraid it wouldn’t stay waterproof and get heavier in extreme wet snow (which we have often). Decided no. However, I would totally keep it for staying warm and dry in regular winter life; I just don’t need one for that. Nice coat!
This jacket is great. I originally ordered the blue in a 6. The reviews said it ran small so I figured a 6 would be fine because I tend to be a small or extra small on top. I'm 5'4" and 125 lb. It arrived and didn't fit, so I ordered an 8 in red. The 8 fits better and it's fine so I will keep it. I do wonder though if I might even prefer a 10 just to allow for a little more space. The jacket fits fine but a little more room might be more comfortable. Either way it's super warm and I love the color.
This is a beautiful, heavy ski jacket. I usually wear a size 8, and the 8 was a bit snug. If I added layers underneath, it would not fit.
Had been looking for a jacket like this for a while..it is awesome to say the least. Many cool features, super warm, Obermeyer makes an excellent quality product-order 1 size up. You'll love it!!
If planning on 2 or more layers- I would definitely size up on this jacket. Aside from that, the quality, color and style are awesome..
