Absolute game changer for my pup!
Absolute game changer for my pup! I've tried boots in the past for my dogs as we enjoy hiking and then also for winter as salt is not good for their paws. Historically my dogs have always hated wearing boots and it was always a struggle to get them walking before they got one or more boots off. I had pretty much given up until we got a doodle and his feet just get so dirty and he soaks up snow/rain like. you wouldn't believe so we got him a pair of boots, but the same thing happened. We practiced and overall he got better, but still we never made it an entire walk with boots before. I wanted to get the liners, but they were pretty consistently out of stock at REI and we tried some other socks, but they had grips on the bottom which my dogs did not like either. Finally picked up a pair of liners and then put boots on and my pup was suddenly fine wearing his boots. He just sat while we put our coats on and we successfully got through an entire walk without him trying to remove his boots. I'll get another pair!
