Light, warm, and well-fitted!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great coat! My teenage daughter is PICKY and she felt this coat was warm but not overly warm (northern Michigan winters), fitted to her figure, and super affordable for the warmth and quality!
Pros and Cons
It's warm and thin, got this because I'm very intolerant to cold and can't stand having too much bulk. I like the cut but it's big in the chest and snug in the hips. I don't have boobs so it puckers in the back, which is my biggest complaint. Is designed to go over your butt, it doesn't compensate much for the curve. I think I will keep it anyway because I really love that it's thin and not breathable and the color is nice too. I'm 5'2, 115lbs, 36B.
Warm and feminine
Very warm and comfortable. I’m 5’5” and 160 and ordered the large which fits perfectly. I’m a little broader in the shoulders and this jacket is pretty comfy and it doesn’t feel like it’s tight. It maintains a very feminine silhouette even when wearing a heavy sweater/hoodie underneath. I’m very happy with this purchase!
Perfect for travel, light weight and warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight and warm. Perfect for travel, packs well in a backpack. Only negative is the tread on the end of the sleeve, on the inside of the sleeve, started to come undone after 2 days of wearing. I caught it early enough and was able to fix it before it began to unravel more.
The most flattering coat ever!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading several reviews on this jacket, I decided to order a small and crossed my fingers that it would fit. I am 5’6, 140 lbs and chest 34C. The sleeves and body of the coat were snug and EXTREMELY flattering! It’s a little longer in back and the sleeves were long enough to keep my hands warm. My only complaint is that it was a little tight across my chest. I would suggest ordering up a size if you are large chested. I get compliments every time I wear it! I now have the black one and the dark purple one. It’s a puffer coat but not too “puffy” and does the job to keep you warm during the winter. You can’t go wrong with this jacket!!
Wonderful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a new coat/jacket for recess duty, but wasn't sure if the Heavenly jacket would be warm enough. After visiting with a friend who has an older style, I decided to try this one, and I am so glad I did. The fit is perfect, even the sleeves are long enough. It is so lightweight, I barely feel it, but it sure does keep the cold and wind off. I bought the hooded version, as I don't have time to hunt for a cap. If I wear only a blouse or thin shirt at 30 degrees with 22 degree wind chill, my arms can feel a little cool, but certainly not cold after 20-30 minutes outside. I prefer to layer with a thin cardigan, and have had no problems.
Pretty Good but Far From Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hmmmm...I love the design. The stitching is slenderizing rather than typical horizontal stripes, which make me look short and fat. The hood has a minky lining that is extra warm and soft. I love the thumb holes. Problem--the body is kinda big, and the sleeves are TOO SHORT. I almost exchanged the medium for a small, but I knew the sleeves would never work. I wish there was a draw string on hood and at the bottom, since the jacket runs big. Drawstrings could help block wind when I'm hiking. I'm only 5'3" (135#). If you are taller, the sleeves will likely be short for you, so you won't be able to take advantage of the cuff with thumb holes.
Travel to Alaska
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Jacket! I traveled to Alaska and it was the best purchase, a great success, I'm happy!!
Amazing jacket!
I’ve been searching for a jacket for fall or mild winter days, and this is it. Many reviews (and even the Columbia website) suggest sizing up. I decided not to, and my regular size (small) fits perfectly while still leaving room for a thick sweater. I was deciding between this and the Nano Puff and ultimately went went with Columbia because the fit was better, insulation seems comparable, the white color is nicer and it’s $100 less. All in all, a great purchase.
Very Warm very stylish not bulky
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Jacket has become my new favorite jacket. It is extremely warm without being too bulky and has the softest hooded jacket that I've every had. The reflective material on the inside insulates well from the cold and it cuts off at just the right length. It is true to size but if you want a looser fit, the next size up is probably still good enough. I'm a fan of the holed sleeve at the wrist that you can strap your thumbs into and not wearing them doesn't make it awkward. I like how it complements my figure as well! The only downside is that I have zipped it all the way up and at time the zipper can bother me but once I put the hood on, the nuisance is alleviated.
