Great fit, poor quality
Bought one paid and loved the fit, so I bought another paid. Outdoor I've walked on grass, gravel, concrete, dirt, and asphalt. My first paid I used while doing yard work and using a shovel. In less than a year, the tread on the outside of the shoe about two inches from the back of the heal came apart, on both shoes. I chalk it up to abuse using the shovel, but shortly thereafter my other pair, which I just used to wear to work and socially developed the same problem on the right tread in the exact same location. I reached out the Merrell, but they responded the shoes were beyond warranty. Love the shoe other than the poor tread quality
Comfortable hiking shoes!
Comfortable, stay on well, even when hiking in Turkey Run State Park! Great pair of shoes!
Thank you for the great feedback! Happy Trails!
Data tag inside shoe says Boulder, but colors not even close!!!
I bought this shoe for the color, but to my great dissatisfaction, the colors are not even close. The data tag on the inside of shoe says Boulder, but the colors are not the same. The two-tone sole is dark grey, sort of brown and not even close to the light tan shown in the product image. The upper is a dark brownish-grey and not even close to the lighter tan shown in the product image. In fact, the colors don't match any of the Moab shoes. For the price of these shows, where's the quality control??? Someone must have been asleep at the wheel when this batch arrived from Vietnam.
Very nice shoe
I purchased the Moab wide because they were wide enough for my feet, the Q2 women's slide was not. The Moab's foot bed was also more comfortable. Since I have a high instep the front collar of the shoe is too high and tight, but I have cut down this collar and put a split over where my instep is the highest. I will go to a shoe repair place to have this split side stitched to keep the cut from looking bad. I'd ordered a 10W for the width but it was too wide and finally decided on the 8.5 W. The toe box isn't pointy and there's lots of toe room. Had to buy a 10W to get the width in a tennis shoe. Please make a Moab Slide in men's Wide!!
Cheap and overpriced
The stiching on the toe broke in less than a month on one shoe and the other is already starting to come apart as well.

Excellent shoe but not enough quarter support
I wore out a previous version of this shoe. The previous version was a little loose, but otherwise perfect. This version fits much more snugly, which is great for hiking. I definitely prefer the fit of this version over the previous version. My only complaint is the back of the shoe doesn't have enough support, so I have to bend over and pull the rear part of the quarter back to slip the shoe on. The previous version had much more support in the back, so I could slip the shoe on like a slipper, standing up. If Merrell combined the fit of this version with the rear support of the previous version, this would be a perfect shoe.
I’m a Merrell guy, truly great quality and comfortable shoes.
Currently I own 11 pair of Merrell shoes. I have work boots, hiking shoes and sandals... recently I bought a pair of the Moab Adventure Moc. They didn’t let me down. Very lightweight well built shoes, size fits perfectly! Upon wearing these out for dinner I promptly ordered a second pair ( different color) and they are my favorite pair of casuals now. They are very good looking and comfortable. I have been wearing Merrell’s to work and for hiking for several years now and have met many people who swear by them, as I do. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I try including the sandals which are extremely lightweight and comfortable ... keep it up Merrell.
Super product way better than the Jungle Moc
I was a long time buyer of the Jungle Moc but could not get the leather version in wide. I was so happy to see this shoe at my local shoe store in leather with wide width. At the time I didn't pay much attention to the Vibram sole except that it was flat in design vs curved like the Jungle Moc sole. The Vibram sole has worn like iron after almost 2 years of use. The Vibram sole does not wear on the sides like the Jungle and has been super supportive for my lower back that has issues. I highly recommend this product and today purchased two more pair to replace the pair that the leather has delaminated from the sole.
Love The Vibram Sole
The main reason I chose this model was the Vibram sole. From past experience I have found that the Vibrant sole is more durable than any sole out there. Also I like the flat heel section better than the Merrell rounded one as I feel it is easier to turn my ankle with that heel design. My wife has a pair although not the adventure model which has the Merrell rounded heel and she loves them. I do think that the Merrell sole is a softer material and probably provides better traction over all surfaces. I have found over the years that any Merrell shoe is made of quality materials and well worth the money spent.
Good, quality product....again
I've had several pairs of Merrell's over the years and these continue the "very satisfied" tradition. I finally wore out my Jungle Moc's and thought I'd try the Moab Adventure Moc. I like the more aggressive tread and they are very comfortable, broke in feeling right out of the box. The style of the leather was nicer than the Jungle Moc which goes just as nice with a pair of jeans. Nice go to work shoe and also for working out in the yard as they slip on and off easily. I would consider this shoe an upgrade from the Jungle Moc (which I also have a new pair of) Merrell makes great shoes overall and I've had hikers to sandals, the fit/feel is great and they have worn well.
