I am obsessed with these cookies

I am so happy I discovered this brand. Gluten free and dairy free! I’m in heaven. My favorites are snickerdoodle and chocolate chip. Take it from someone who is very familiar with gluten free and dairy free options—these are a gem. The taste is so good. I am super grateful that REI carries this product!

Meal Replacement on the go

These cookies pack a punch. They are great to take on a hikes and rides, especially while I bring these on hikes and rides. I'm gone for a few hours and it's a while before I get home for dinner. Each cookie is 2 servings; I usually can't help myself and finish the whole cookie at one time. They are really that good! I like that they are chewy, moist and flavorful, compared to many other protein cookies I've tried.

Best cookie when hiking!

First these won't taste nearly as good if you aren't burning calories at a fast pace or already slightly hungry. They taste AMAZING during and made a wonderful pick me up on my Rim2Rim hike. They are thick and chewy making a nice break from crunchy and salty. Lightweight for the amount of protein and calories.

Soft cookie that needs milk

I would say compared to your average Lenny and Larry's protein cookie, this Munk Pack falls in the middle. From first glance, if you try to feel for how soft the cookie will be, if you squeeze just a tiny bit, it for sure is soft. Compared to Lenny and Larry's, it's definitely softer than L&L. However as far as taste goes, the mouthfeel makes you instantly want milk to wash out the cookie in your mouth. It's pretty dry when you take your first bite. I took this out on a climbing trip and during our down time between climbs, I took this out to eat and as far as a snack goes, I would definitely pass. If I had a chance to microwave at home for 10 seconds for a warm cookie and a glass of milk, then it would be perfect. But on an extremely hot day doing an activity, I probably would not take this out on a trip to eat. It just felt so dry to eat, I had to wash it down with water.

Approved by teenagers

I personally have not eaten these cookies, but my review is based on the feedback from my 13-year-old son. We brought these cookies on a multi-day river trip on the middle fork of the Salmon. He loved to have them as a snack while on the river. He has since asked me to buy them again and I will for sure as I am always looking for high-protein snacks for my teenage boys.

compressed, crumbly and dry

It was ok. The flavor was there but based on the packaging, I expected a cookie like appearance and consistency. This was a uniform crumbly hockey puck that felt like it sucked the moisture out of my mouth with each bite. Definitely had to wash it down with my coffee.

Dark chocolate cookie

A dark, dark chocolate cookie. It was delivered on a hot day and sat on my front porch for several hours without melting. It tastes like it doesn't have a lot of sugar, which I like. But it is very dry and goes best with a full glass of cold (whole) milk.

What a trail treat!

These cookies are great for a trail snack or dessert! Usually protein cookies suffer from a bit of dryness, but not these. Lots of chocolatey goodness!

Super Dry

I tried the Snickerdoodle Munk Cookie and wasn't impressed with this brand. The taste wasn't the best, but my major issue with it was how dry it is and it makes you drink water to choke this down. It just turns into a paste in your mouth. I wouldn't recommend this as a snack, especially if you're trying to conserve water...

A Great Snack for Backpacking!

These Munk Pack protein cookies were the MVPs of my first backpacking trip. i picked them out at random and was so impressed! they are delicious, and get you a solid amount of protein, carbs and sugar that gives you an immediate boost. I'll definitely think twice about grabbing a protein bar, when this is comparable
