Footbed runs short:not true to size. Had to order a full to full and half size bigger. Very skimpy foot bed insulation.

Too wide around ankle. No zipper. Far too hard to get on and off without tightening every single loop every single time.

Love the idea of them : (

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought these boots as I was preparing for winter camping/hiking in the mountains. Boots seem to work a bare up the cold find so long as I was active. Once I was not active the tips of my toes were cold. We were camping in about 12-18 inches of snow on a mountain and there was much work required in the whole trip. I probably would have kept these boots but when I came home from the getaway I found out that these boots had only a year warranty and not a lifetime as most north face products. The reason I ended up deciding to return them is because on the 2nd day of being on the mountain I notice that the front rubber sole began to separate from the shoe leaving my feet open to the cold and wet conditions. I am not sure if this is just these particular boots but it's not worth me spending the money on a boot that can't last 2 days in snow conditions.

I would buy again, a full-size bigger

Planned to wear for trip to Alaska end of November and ordered a half-size bigger but it was still too small. The previous reviews about running small were not posted when I placed my order or I would have ordered one full-size bigger. I returned them today and just placed another order. However, in order to receive them before my flight now I have to pay for overnight shipping ($25). A couple of weeks ago I ordered the Shellista IV Tall and they run small too and felt too constricting on my calfs (I'm 5'6", 148 lbs) so I ordered these mid-sized boots. They feel comfortable but can only wear thin socks and have no wiggle room in the toe area and that's uncomfortable for me.

Love these boots

I needed good, warm and tall boots that could stand up to our canadian -30 winters and that i could play in the snow with my kids. It hasnt reached -30 yet so i cant review that but these boots are really comfortable. They are however narrow in the toes. Im normally a size 9 but had to size up for my toes not to be squished. They seem very durable and are so far, waterproof. I will come back and edit my review if i need to. But so far im in love.

So Happy!

I honestly adore these! I was going to get {WOMEN'S SHELLISTA II MID BOOTS} but decided not to because of reviews stating that the boots didn't keep their feet warm. So I got these instead since they're just as cute and they're SHELLISTA III (an improved version of SHELLISTA II). I'm normally a 7.5 wide in most shoes but got an 8.5 in these and they fit wonderfully. Obviously I'm going to have to break them in because they're snug but not uncomfortably snug. The insulation in them already had my feet toasty just from trying them on and test walking around in them in my apartment. I'd like to mention I have pretty wide thick calves- 17.5 (at the widest point) to be exact and these still lace up with no gaps between the tongue and sides of the boot. Yay! I also walk to work so these boots will be awesome for that. I'm really impressed and excited to actually wear these in the upcoming months with my Vermont Darn Tough Socks!

PERFECT for Cold & Snow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, order a full size up. I am usually an 8 1/2 but read reviews and ordered a 9 1/2. I'm so thankful I did! It fits perfectly and room for thick wool socks. Wore in 7 deg weather and snow in Breckenridge. Walked for hours and my feet never got cold or hurt. Soooo comfy and warm.

Nope.

These boots are really cute and comfortable, but my toes FROZE! Tried them twice with different pairs of smartwool socks, but they just didn't work for me. And, I'm super disappointed in TNF return policy for footwear. They won't take them back if they've been worn. Seriously?! With snow boots especially, you really have to try them out in the conditions to know if they're good or not. For a brand that is supposed to be about quality and craftmanship, I would think that they would have a better return policy and stand by their footwear. Definitely don't spend your money on these.

Super Warm

Amazing product. Tested in heavy snow at Banff and Jasper Alberta and it was pretty warm. The only thing was the size. I am 8.5 on regular shoes and I usually get 9 for boots. It was just right and no room. But no complains as it was really pretty good and warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots are great for the snow! They keep my feet so nice and warm as well as dry! They are definitely a must for this winter season. They are also extremely comfortable and I personally think they are very cute with any winter outfit!
