Professional Touch!

I had this cell-phone case tied & looped around my keychain strap to my belt buckle. & when I got back inside my apartment from grocery shopping all I had was the Key, keychain strap & cel-phone back-strap! I flew back to grocery store with no such luck. It turned out to be dropped in the apartment elevator & turned into bulding maintenance. Lucky me! So I turned to Nite Ize for HELP!

Perfect for my use

Locks very tight, yet easy to release. You can do it single handed even! I used it to attach a bag to my backpack for travel through the airport. Made it very easy to release when time came to board. Locking gives me security that my bag won't disappear without me knowing about it.

Great carabiner for PCT hang

Love this carabiner for PCT hang it also locks up if you need it to. What I am disappointed with is REI bringing in a union busting firm to SOHO and not negotiating with their employees in good faith. I signed up for updates from that union and if those workers tell me to stop buying from REI I will listen to them.

Makes Traveling Easier

Got the Nite Ize SlideLock Carabiner to hook my dog's dog bowl onto when traveling around in the airport. Extremely useful! I was also able to hook my Oboz onto the carabiner with ease. Only thing I'm still getting used to is the slide lock instead of just pushing the metal clip down to open. Otherwise, great product!

Locking Clip Prevents Key Loss

Having had normal carabiners come open and nearly losing my keys prompted me to look for a locking one. This one is very lightweight and locks to prevent inadvertent opening. A welcome addition to my pocketbook.

Used to secure kayak load.

Used those carabiners to secure load in kayak in class II run (Gila Box). Was flipped by low tree branch (shame on me!) - and nothing was lost. Carabiners worked.

A little awkward to unlock

I find the locking setup to be a PITA. Locks when it don't want it to, hard to disengage.

The compact size.

I bought several of these mini carabiners(Blue Aluminum #2,3, &4). The compact #2 size was the best one and most suitable for me (for my car keys but mostly for securing small items such as mini flashlights or other small travel items to my backpack). So far they have worked out great, they are sturdy enough so you don’t have to worry about losing the smal items & it has also worked great for hooking my car keys to a belt loop.

Simple, but versatile little helper

I use these little 'biners for all sorts of travel tasks -- holding zippers together, attaching things to daypacks. I love them, and appreciate the color selection, but wish the locking sliders were available as replacement parts (one got hung up on something and went missing).

Makes carrying keys harder

The REI sales clerk recommended it over more expensive climbing caribiner, so I got it. I did not like the way it was set up to lock with a rubber washer which was soon lost anyway.
