Sno-Seal uses natural beeswax to protect, condition and waterproof all full-grain leather footwear.

Natural beeswax allows leather to breathe; will not weaken or decay any boot materials
To use: clean boots; apply liberally to pre-warmed leather; use as much as leather will absorb, wipe excess and buff if desired; re-apply as necessary
Will darken all leathers--test on inconspicuous spot
Not for use on suede, will smooth the nap

A pleasure to use. Apply to clean leather, heat with a hair dryer and work the wax into the leather. Makes a water proof barrier. Extends the life of a boot by moisturizing the leather. More fun to use than silicone weather proofing.

Holy smokes, this is THE classic great product--been around and doing the job right since 1933 (which is probably older than either you or anyone you know). If you plan to go outside this winter in leather (not suede) boots or shoes and you want to stay dry and warm when you do (and why wouldn't you want to do that?), get Sno-Seal and use it.
