The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Hoka One One Stinson Evo Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
Have not put enough trail miles on these shoes to judge durability and ware, yet. They have made trail running, especially downhills possible for my sore knees and feet. They are not sore anymore. I look forward to getting out in the mountains again.

Comments about Hoka One One Stinson Evo Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
The good, this trail shoe did great on the even terrain and excelled on the downhills.
The bad, on the uneven terrain it caused ankle rolls, it also rubbed on the side of my ankle when I was running down the mountain that had a slight slope. I would probably buy this shoe for road running but def. not for harsh terrain, they are too high and cause multiple problems. I will stick to my speed cross.

Comments about Hoka One One Stinson Evo Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
I have run a couple of times in these but they feel exactly like the road version which I have put around 200 miles at this point. The shoes appear oversized because they are, but they feel great on the feet and weigh alot less than they look. They will definitely keep your legs from getting beat up on longer runs. The only downside is how thin the outsole is and how quickly it gets worn through.

Comments about Hoka One One Stinson Evo Trail-Running Shoes - Men's:
A little background first, I'm 25, 5' 11", 125 lbs, and mainly a mountain biker who has recently taken up trail running mostly as cross training/something to do in the winter to keep up my fitness. Running has always seemed like a chore: It hurt my feet, my legs. After five miles or so I'd feel super sore and need a full day or two for recovery. I needed new running shoes and was first looking at those sexy slim minimalist shoes that are all the rage. Then I saw these and after reading as much as I could about them, they made perfect sense. Why not make running hurt less if possible? Go farther with less pain? Be able to go faster downhill? Better traction? Why not! First off and most importantly, they aren't completely different than your traditionally padded running shoe. The first time you put them on they will feel a bit different. Higher in the forefoot area because of all the foam. Once you're running though, you will forget they are incredibly different unless you really think about it. They are just as light if not lighter than my previous shoes, as well as a bit stiffer I think. Having the huge tread area really does make it feel more stable. And because I'm sure you're wondering, no, they don't look like crazy clown shoes when on. Your foot sinks down more than you'd think and look pretty much like normal shoes. I've had no one even look at them weird. The fast lace system they have looks a little rickety, but so far has worked quite well! I haven't had to retighten them at all. They include a pair of regular shoe laces as well though. So far I've probably put 75 miles on them on various sorts of terrain from gravel urban trails, to extremely vertical (1200 vertical feet) rocky hiking trails, to snowy/icy roads and sidewalks. They handle everything marvelously. The traction is excellent, they seemed to need no breaking in period, and I have yet to get blisters or hot spots or anything. And even running over loose sand I haven't had anything enter the shoes. Now to the important part! No, it doesn't feel like you're cheating but darn, you will run faster and farther immediately! I'm now doing far longer runs with ZERO foot and leg pain and the best part, recovery has been cut down to almost nothing. Every weekend morning that I run, I feel tired afterwards, but not sore at all and I always want to go out for a second run later the same day! They make me feel so good that I'll find myself doing little sprints towards the end of my run, just like I sometimes feel like doing in the beginning. Going downhill fast is awesome! You do feel sort of like your flying, launching off stuff, bounding, its made running almost as much fun as mountain biking! And the best part, the faster you run the more the extra foam seems to work. I'm sure I'll keep running, running further and more for the fun of it, and when I do my first marathon, I'm sure it will be in these. Do I want to also try minimalist shoes? Yes! But for pure running enjoyment, these are perfect.

I was a little worried when I pulled these out of the box because they don't look like other shoes. But then I wore them...and I kept wearing them! I have never been a runner. I'm 5'10" 200lbs and running has always hurt. Not with my Hokas. These shoes have turned me into a runner:) They look different because they are different. They're better than "normal" shoes. Don't be afraid to try something different:)
