Comments about Merrell Isotherm Mid Waterproof Winter Boots - Women's - 2011 Closeout:
I love these boots! I bought them last year to go hunting with my dad in Kansas. Cold, wet, fields with snow and mud is what we were going through with our dogs. These boots held up perfectly! My feet tend to get cold too. I had a wool base layer sock with another top layer sock over them and boy, my feet are warm! They didn't ever get wet, the boots don't smell and feet have been known to sweat. Then, I wore them all summer long. Where I live there is a ton of dirt and mesa. I walk my dogs daily for a couple of hours and even run in the mesa with these boots. They go over any terrian and are so comfortable. I wore them snowshoeing this year and they have held up beautifully. I wear a thicker wool sock with them now, and my feet are toasty warm and dry. I have not had any issues with my feet getting wet and I have put these boots through the ringer. I wanted another pair exactly like them and can't believe I found them. My current ones are still good..but I have a ton of miles on them so I did want to have another pair to alternate with. They are amazing in cold wet miserable weather. But for us outdoor lovers, that is the best kind of weather and these boots hold up. I am so excited I found them again! They are so worth the money.

So far I love these boots...I haven't been hiking in them yet but wore them casually and then to the mall just to try them out. They are quite comfortable/no breaking in necessary and fit true to size for me. I wanted a pair of hiking boots that were sturdy/well made/warm and waterproof yet comfortable. So far these fit the bill!

I wore these outside once doing yard work in the rain, then out snowshoeing. I LOVE the fit and comfort. My feet were warm, and without a big break in, my 9.5 mile trek in them was pure support and comfort. No hot spots and I am picky about a comfortable fit. They kept my feet dry, too. I like the furry lining for both warmth and style. They are worth every penny!!!

I wore these for the first time yesterday in 20 degree weather for about a 6 mile snowshoe. The only time my feet were cold was after stopping a while for lunch. Also, for not breaking them in at all, I had no hot spots. Very comfortable. Besides this, they were not even damp inside after a full snowshoeing day.I'm glad I picked them up.

I have had these boots for five years and love, love, love them. I wear them anytime when it is cold or snowing outside. Hiking, snowshoeing or just an evening out walking around shops in the snow. I would recommend these to everyone. Looks great with boots and very comfy and warm.

Comments about Merrell Isotherm Mid Waterproof Winter Boots - Women's - 2011 Closeout:
I bought these boots last year and have used them for any outdoor winter activities ranging from snowshoeing (with gaiters) to picking out a Christmas tree to shoveling the drive way. I had read on another site that the boots hurt her ankles when she walked on pavement which is likely not what these boots are meant for, but I find that just undoing the topmost tie on the ankle of the boots fixed that issue for me.
