The large-size Timbuk2 Command Messenger bag is TSA-compliant and offers sophisticated laptop portage for the urban jungle.
- More Berlin than Berkeley, the Command's oxford nylon and anodized hardware make it the most sophisticated bag from Timbuk2
- Durable Oxford nylon fabric feels smooth and has a subtle sheen; waterproof thermoplastic urethane liner
- Fits up to a 15 in. laptop; TSA-compliant external laptop compartment unzips and lies flat for going through security without removing your laptop
- Grab-and-go carry handle: grab your bag from the security line without worrying that the laptop will fall out; you can zip it up later at your convenience
- External laptop compartment is easy to access while carrying the Command Messenger by the shoulder strap; rubber nubs inside the foam pocket ensure superb protection

I replaced a fossil messenger bag with this one, and I wish that I found out about these bags sooner. The adjustable strap combined with the fasteners that freely spin to accommodate your movement work great when you're on the run. There are plenty of pockets to use and enough room that you may end up taking too much with you.

This is a great bag. It has a lot of pockets which is what I really need. The laptop/iPad compartment is very nice and is TSA approved. Only complaint is that the empty bag is quite heavy, but with all the compartments that is to be expected.

I like the easy of operating the flap and its connecting straps; however, the buckles are prone to slipping/loosening. This has not caused any problems for me but is something of which to be aware. I carry this daily with a 15.5 inch laptop. Very comfortable to carry.
