by That dude AlexfromFantastic TentI'm 25, and I wanted to get a tent that would be really simple to set up, relatively lightweight without sacrificing space, reliable, and have good vestibule coverage. This tent is all of the above.
First of all, it's incredibly easy to setup. There is effectively only one pole that you have to connect the whole thing. It takes minutes.
It's very spacious. The two crossbars at the top really open it up and make it feel extremely roomy for sitting up. The only flaw space-wise is that it feels a bit narrow. When I camp with my girlfriend, it's perfect, but when I camp with a guy friend, it's a bit on the cozy side.
It's a bit heavy in the bag, but I have a decent balance of lightweight gear, and some non-lightweight. I was willing to sacrifice weight for a tent that could handle stronger winds, cold temperatures, and have decent space.
One of my favorite things about this tent is that it has TWO vestibules. I think this is great. They aren't 100% identical, but you can enter from either side, which is an absolute gift. I don't think I'll ever get a 2 person tent with one entry point. No crawling over anyone, and each person has a vestibule where they can keep their gear. It's genius.
The first time I used this tent, it was pouring rain. It held up perfectly and no condensation got in the tent whatsoever.
This tent CAN be set up in a lightweight manner where you only use the rainfly and ground sheet. It's great. For this price, the tent is a steal.
