Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Convertible Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
It seems like Prana doesn't have a quality check when they are shipped out from China. Each pant fits differently. I have two of the standard Zion pants and the convertible ones, and each of them fit differently. The convertible version of these pants ran HUGE!!! Luckily, REI took care of that and sent me ones that were true to size.
These pants look cheaply made. For the money it's not worth it. If you just want the Prana brand, then go for it.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Convertible Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
These are great convertible pants. I love the stretchy material and the adjustable waist. I wear them backpacking and I can tighten the waist as I lose weight on the trip. They are a little warm as a result of the thicker material, but they are breathable and stretchy. They are a little susceptible to snags, but are very durable otherwise. Best convertible pants I have owned. I mostly wear them as shorts, but I like being able to zip on the legs at night when it gets cold.

Comments about prAna Stretch Zion Convertible Pants - Men's 30" Inseam:
A good thing about these pants is that they definitely stretch very well. I don't see much else that makes these worth the price and would render them better than other, cheaper pants with similar features.
The nylon fabric feels sturdy, but it is too warm and does not breathe well. I tried these out at the climbing gym, and as soon as I hit a hard climb, my legs were overheating. Afterwards I've been wearing them all day sitting at my desk, and they feel icky at the legs and the crotch, just uncomfortable performance wear.
The manufacturing quality looks questionable. These are zip-off pants, and the zipper backing on the legs is too long (looks like an XXL-size zipper backing on M-size pants), and it's hanging off the end of the zipper on the inside, scratching my leg. Pretty uncomfortable. And two loose threads sticking out of a seam that look like they will come undone sooner rather than later.
A minor issue is that the sizes tend to run large - I ordered size M (32/33), but it's larger than 33 at the waist. The little drawstring helps tighten it down, but it's an ugly long strap hanging down the side of the pants now.
I bought this item because I heard of friends liking their Prana climbing pants. On Prana's web site, these are listed as their top climbing model. As for me, I am returning them.
