The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Chaco ZX/2 Yampa Sandals - Women's:
I finally got these sandals after wanting them for awhile. They're pricey, but the reward is a durable alternative to hiking boots for hikes/backpacking/camping. I will have them for years and the straps now fit my feet perfectly (after some use). I would highly recommend these to anyone! (Especially if you need support while being active, like me!)

Comments about Chaco ZX/2 Yampa Sandals - Women's:
Arch way too high. Uncomfortable to walk in. Regular width pinched bottom of my heel so I went to wide width. Then the toe area was WAY too wide. Liked the look and versatility but had to return. Did find that another chaco style fit better. Still very high in the arch and takes some getting used to.

Great sandal for everyday wear. I have several in different colors. Wonderful support. Wouldn't wear anything else on my feet during the summer (except running shoes)!!!

I bought these sandals to replace a well worn pair of another popular brand of water shoe. I spend a lot of time in wet, boggy areas and these sandals have been great. No break in necessary. firm but flexable sole with good support.

I went in to buy Keens and decided on the Chacos instead. Very good decision. I wear them basically everyday. At first your feet have to get used to the places wear the straps will rub and the adjusting (somewhat confusing at first) but once you get it they are great! I hike, wear them to work (on a mountain), bike ride, and slackline in them! Overall awesome purchase!

So far this Spring I've used them out and about, church. They are comfortable, great arch support, fit my narrow, low volume feet well. I did have to adjust the straps just right to get the fit. It did take several tries. My usual size 7 fit well. One really nice thing about the Chacos is that you can adjust the width; that is a problem for me in finding any cute sandals in a narrow. I have the Pixel Weave color and love it. I have other Chacos, they are durable and can be machine washed. My others have been machine washed as sand (from slot canyoneering/swimming) had to be washed out.

It took some tweaking to get the straps just right, but now that they are these shoes are bliss! I wear them with pants, shorts, and dresses. I wear them to work where I'm on my feet all day and use them for long walks and light hikes. Love them!

I purchased these mainly for support and I heard great things about the Vibram technology. The sandal do provide great support for all use. They've been good for backpacking trips because I like breathable feet and this sandal actually provides the support and balance I need for long trips without my body feeling the pains later as was the case with an old pair of Teva Terra-Fi.
However, the biggest annoyance with these sandals are the straps. They make micro adjustments as you walk and eventually, the straps will tighten to the point where they strangle the big toes. For long use on backpacking trips, it required frequent adjustments that forced me to stop because the straps caused tenderness and blistering. While gauze and tape alleviate the tightening of the strap, I'll most likely look for another sandal that inflicts less pain.

Great sandal for someone who pronates when they walk. This sandal helps to promote proper body mechanics to the hip, knee, and ankle with walking.

Comments about Chaco ZX/2 Yampa Sandals - Women's:
I so wanted to love these sandals -- they're incredibly cute, and I've always wanted a pair of Chacos. First I tried a pair of women's 9 wides. I became an expert in the straps in no time, because I had to keep loosening the stranglehold on my big toes every 10 minutes. The wides were way too long; the heel strap extended past the back of the sandal. Next I tried a pair of 9 regulars -- they were too narrow and also kept trying to squeeze off my big toe. So I went to a men's 7 regular with a single strap, and in the words of Goldilocks, they were just right. Thank you, REI, for your open return policy; I wear my men's Chacos every chance I get. While they're not as cute and girly as the double-strapped sandals, I do not have to beg my walking companions to wait up while I adjust my straps ...
