Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
I use this double-side packing cube on a daily basis on my commute to and from work. I appreciate the mesh side, which lets me see what I've packed, and the plastic side, which keeps my wet clothes from soaking the rest of my packed items. This organizer fits perfectly horizontally in an Ortlieb rear pannier (which can be found on the REI website), which is nice, because the Ortlieb pannier lacks any sort of organizing pouches or pockets. It also fits well vertically in the Ortlieb front panniers (check those out on the REI website as well). Buying these made my daily commute much easier, and would be very handy for bike tours as well.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
These cubes are great and I bought a number of them for a recent 3-week trip. I used them for any clothes that did not require the Fold-It packers. So, if all my clean clothes started on the "clean"/open to air side and fit in the cube, they could also transition to the lined "dirty" side and take up exactly the same space, thanks to the wonderful floating divider panel. I always knew where my tops, underwear, etc were throughout the trip, and never had to worry about used clothes mixing with clean ones, as I have had to do when using zip-top plastic bags. I have never been so organized in my life, and will never travel without these again. I went for the aqua/lime combo because they are easy to spot and easy to find things in.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
What I bought: I purchased this double-sided cube (in the aqua/lime color combination) for a recent 8-day trip to Europe (and will definitely be using it for an upcoming trip to South America). I used the double-sided cube with a double-sided half-cube and was able to fit everything I wanted into them. The colors were stylish and the material holds up quite well.
Overall impression: I wasn't entirely sure that I needed the cubes when I purchased them, but I now cannot imagine packing for a trip without them. (Also, I don't generally write reviews for gear, but I was incredibly excited about the usefulness of the product.) If you want clothing to be organized and accessible during your trip, then the double-sided cube is your solution.
How I used them: The double-sided cube and double-sided half cube both fit perfectly into a rolling suitcase (checked on an airplane) and into a carry-one bag. When beginning the trip, I used the cubes as a way to organize different types of clothing; later, I used them to separate dirty from clean(er) clothes.
Bonus points: I was able to bring back 2 valuable bottles of wine from France in my checked bag by packing them VERY securely in the double-side cube. I put one wine bottle on either side, swaddled in clothing, and didn't have to worry at all.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
I purchased this product after a friend had recommended packing cubes as a great way to save precious luggage space.
I was traveling to New Orleans (business suits), California (casual clothing) & Hawaii (hiking/swimming/snorkeling gear) in one whirlwind trip with one medium suitcase and needed a way to organize all my clothing without going insane. I purchased 2 cubes & 1 flat organizer (to avoid wrinkling my work attire). I was amazed at how well everything fit into my luggage and how organized I felt on each trip. I knew exactly where everything was located, I was able to fit way more clothes than I needed (my downfall!), and unpacking at each location was a breeze.
Also, I shoved one of these into my backpacking pack (which can only be opened from the top & bottom) and it made things so much easier because I didn't have to try to blindly "feel" for the garment I was pulling out.
Do yourself a favor and have a few on-hand for your next excursion -- business or pleasure!

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
I bought a bunch of these based on recommendations from a couple people. I was packing for a 3 week trip that would involve cold weather and warm weather clothing. I ended up returning most of them b/c they took up more space than without them. I did find them to help keep me organized but they are bulky in that it takes up more space in your suitcase than without them.
Bottom line: they are great for light packers and/or weekend trips but not a good idea for those that pack a lot/have a long trip.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
We backpacked around the world for a year and these cubes were life-savers! They turned our backpacks into dresser drawers - so easy to find items. We separated our warm/cold weather gear using different color cubes. Definitely worth the money - after a year of HEAVY every day use they are still in great condition.

Comments about Eagle Creek Pack-It 2-Sided Cube:
I bought several sizes of these 2-sided cubes for a 2.5 week trip to Europe for which I was only bring one small suitcase. I used one for pants, one for shirts, one for socks/underwear/bras/swimsuit, and one for miscellaneous things like a belt, rain jacket/pants, hat/gloves. Everything in my suitcase was nicely compressed in these cubes and took up much less space than if I packed without the cubes. Clothing stayed wrinkle free, and it was so easy to find everything because it was all organized. I love the 2-sided zippers, which allow you to separate dirty from clean clothes, or just divide your stack of clothes in half to keep from having to dig for what you need.
Since I go camping almost every weekend, I seem to be using these for every trip. Often my trips consist of a day of rock climbing and a day of mountain biking, so I end up bringing a lot of gear and clothing. I use these cubes to separate my clothing and gear for my different sports to keep them organized in my bottomless duffle bag.
