I have always found REI and REI Outlet to carry quality products, so I was SHOCKED and disappointed that REI is selling such a terrible product. The padding is such that it bulks in one section of the bed while leaving other sections without any support, so there was nothing between my dog and the floor in multiple sections. The bolster pillow was very small and did not even fill the bolster section material. [...] I couldn't get to the store to return it fast enough.

Despite the bad reviews, I purchased this bed at a deep discount (app 60% off) and figured I would give it a shot. Lets just say I should have trusted the reviews. This is a sad excuse for a dog bed. I would take a [$] bed from [@] over this any day. Returned it the very next day.

I bought this bed in an effort to save money. My dogs loved a different name brand bed but it was very expensive. The olly bed has been a hassle since I bought it. Almost immediately after getting it home I started noticing small bits of the bed ending up all over the house. I thought it would eventually end but it did not now three months in it still manages to shed anywhere my dogs are willing to carry its fibers around the house (constant vacuuming). The dogs (two greyhounds) do love the bed but they do not "nest" in it and it should not fall apart so easily.

I won't recommend it at all. The fabric of the cover is so poorly made. Just used for 1 week for normal usage not camping or doing anything crazy, it already looked like been use and worn for years. Also, the pillow part of the dog bed is not easy to use. I have to try very hard to even the stuffing. I returned it back to REI after couple weeks. I don't like to return staff after I had use. However, this is a terrible product. I even don't recommend REI to carries this dog bed anymore.

Over the past 20 years I have never had a dog bed that my dogs liked as much as this one. While it does not look like something I would like, the enthusiasm of the dogs and their desire to sleep on these beds rather than the furniture has results in considerable enthusiasm for this product. We now have 4 of these beds.

This product was a disappointment. It does not match the picture. The bolster is NOT in a separation compartment and doesn't stay where it belongs. There is about 1/2 the required padding to make it look as full as the picture implies. Due to the deep discount and hassle of returning, I'll keep it. I will add more padding and try to sew the bolster compartment together to keep the padding where it belongs.
