This is my second light that I've bought for backpacking.One for each pack. It is well built, and can take drop or two without any problems. Very bright when your out in the middle of the woods. I like it because it uses your standard AA batteries (3) not those special CR-123 batteries.
I've bought all kinds of flash lights and I really like this one. The only fault it has it's a little heavy, but you have to expect it to be that durable because of the weight. I recommend this light for your night travels because it's just as bright as the ones you put on your heads.
